Father's Rights? Men Want Right To Turn Down Fatherhood

I was beginning to think I was the only one who finds this lawsuit a waste of time.

Reminds me of when I was younger and I was trying to figure out why it’s ok for a man to walk down the street topless, but women cannot. Maybe I should file a silly lawsuit. It’s not that I want to walk down the street topless… I would never do that. But it’s a stupid lawsuit and people appear to love them.

Sadly, I read all these posts and it is so apparent why abortion will never be made illegal. As long as men can walk away, women will seek abortions. As long as women are blamed for “getting pregnant” as if they get that way alone, they will seek abortions.

Obviously, the final choice is up to the woman. If men want a say in this matter/debate, they need to “MAN UP” and make better choices. A good choice would be not to get a woman pregnant if he is not in a position to go the distance. But should he get a woman pregnant, he should accept the fact that he cannot force his rights on the woman.

Women and Mothers should spend more time helping their daughter develop better self esteem. A lot of girls become pregnant early because their self esteem is so low, the minute they get a compliment, they do anything to keep them coming. Too many girls early on equate their self worth to the “man on their arm”.

I think most of the blame should be placed on men because I believe that the majority of women would wait until marriage to have sex if the men were not so selfish. Most women want a relationship with a man and not just sex. Women today know that if they do not have sex with a man then he will move on to another woman. A large number of women are getting pregnant in order to try to hold on to a a man. It is unfortunate that the baby is used as a pawn to manipulate a man into a relationship but that is my observation.

PS. I don’t think that men should be allowed to go topless in public. I think it sexually arouses women to see a well built hunk. I know it does me. At one time it was against the law for men to go topless.

DO NOT CALL THEM MEN AND WOMEN, FOR MEN AND WOMEN ARE MATURE, THESE ARE BOYS AND GIRLS.

I think this point out just how much our culture hates children. At every level we are trying to dispose of them as if they were a curse instead of a blessing. This why we should pay attention to how God purposed to His spouse Mary, “Blessed are you among woman and blessed is the fruit of your womb”. These are the two pilars of marraige set before us by God.

I disagree. Why can’t women value themselves and have more respect for themselves and demand respect from men?

If a male would move on to another woman if he is denied sex, then sex is all he cares about, not the person. She is just a body for him to use and not a person worthy of his love.

Mothers should be teaching their daughters what to look for in a real man who is worthy of being a husband. If he can’t respect her enough to wait for marriage, he’s not worth it. And we should be teaching our sons how real men treat women.

This law suit is valuable in exposing the whole abortion rights argument and making people think about consequences. My father taught me that with every ‘right’ came a responsibility and if I wasn’t prepared for the responsibility then I was not ready for the ‘right’.
 
If this guy does win this lawsuit, we can all count on the # of abortions to skyrocket. Because once women realize that the guy that got them pregnant will now be able to skip out on child support, more and more women will be running to planned parenthood.

This lawsuit is very dangerous to the unborn. We should all be very worried right now.
 
These kind of abberations will continue as long as sexual intercourse is considered normal and healthy outside of marriage- as is has been for the last 40 years or so.
People want sex outside of marriage but they don’t want the consequences-i.e. the baby.
The sad thing is that children have suffered greatly from the “free sex movement” have been relegated to “inconveniences”.

I don’t know if we can stuff the genie back in the bottle-I know we, as a Christian family, are teaching our sons that sex is only appropriate inside marriage(This is God’s law) and that all human life is sacred from conception to natural death.
But not all parents are teaching their children that.

Or, the number of abortions will go down, because women will think twice before they fall into bed with just any man. They may be more willing to wait for a man to commit, if not marry, before offering up their bodies and their beds to strangers who will likely skip out on them if they get pregnant.

Women will have the ability to tell a man, “If you are not willing to support a child that may result from our daliances, then no sex for you.” No more getting any milk for free when we men aren’t willing to buy the cow. Women will have more power to control their bodies, not less.

Further, women will no longer be able to “trap” a man into fatherhood and a long-term relationship or get “an extra paycheck” by allowing herself to get pregnant.

Less sex: less pregnancies: less abortions.

Our culture does not hate children. How can you hate them and then choose to have them?

And yes, I saw 60Minutes this past Sunday. You will never convince me that our culture hates children.
