Actually, I was going to make this a poll with several options over in the traditional catholic section, but got interrupted in the process. Thought I backed out of it, but I guess I hit “submit” on accident.

The “dot-dot-dot” does work though.

. . . . . . . has been done to death on previous threads. If the Pope says yup, we did it, and Sr. Lucia says, yup, they did it, we done dood it. give it a rest, do what Mary asked at Fatima and be obedient loyal children of the Church, love and obey her Son.

The internet can be a misleading source of information unless one can discern if the source is reliable - and at times this is difficult. Hence, I do not know if the source on the following link is reliable - in places it is scarey type reading. I do recall most vividly that Our Lady at Fatima asked for Prayer, Penance and Conversion of Life as one’s life commitment.

Those are important “ifs” up there. If you look deeper into the arguments, you may see them as not so much “open and shut” cases.

I used to think the exact same things as you - and I used to think those who thought otherwise were somehow “disloyal” children of the Church. Didn’t give 'em much though really. Of course this was before I looked at the details of the story, and actually looked at what those “other” guys were saying…examined the questions they put forth.

Now, I am reserving such judgement. There are simply too many strange and conflicting stories, testimonies, and details regarding Fatima. Alot of unanswered - and downright honest - questions are lingering out there.

I don’t blame you for the reaction though…it’s very common and understandable. .

Absolutely and AMEN!!! What this has to do with a personal opinion of the Fatima consecration one way or the other I don’t know, but I agree with it 100% nonetheless.
