I have noticed that before about the number 13. Since 13 has traditionally been associated with being unlucky and whatever else, it’s like she’s reclaiming the number to make good associations with it. Personally I think that it’s one of the subtle ways that Mary shows she will ultimately conquer Satan.

Well you could always see it as 13 representing Jesus and the 12 Apostles? Other than that I doubt it has any real meaning to it. By the way do you guys know how 13 came to be “unlucky” number? I just found out in history that the King of France had some Knights Templays killed on Friday the 13th hence why the date and number get such a bad rap. I know it’s off topic but I figure I put it out there.
Well, my dear brothers and sisters. Actually I was making a joke posting that 13 is an unlucky number. Surely if somebody gives me $13, I will not throw away $1 bill to the trash can.

Unfortunately society still lives with that superstition. For example, hotels often don’t have a 13th floor for tourists, newspeople are always quick to point out Friday the 13th when some catastrophe occurs, etc.

Numerology would never end with the number 13. You continue to add the digits until you get to a single number, so 13 would become 1+3 which would end with 4.

13 is an unlucky number apparently.
There are various reasons offered up for this, but the best one I have read is that it is due to the extermination of the Templar Order occuring in France, by secret order, on the 13th of the month, and a Friday : hence Friday the 13th being especially unlucky. The reason I opt for this explanation is because it is the only one that explains a special significance of both the number 13 and Friday the 13th. That event lead to widespread and similar suppressions of that same, massive order throughout most of Western Europe, an order that had become almost institutional in Christendom. Its falling had consequences in all spheres of life, from financial, to policial, to religious. The 13th, would, then, have a Christian, and especially Catholic association by this regard. I confess I know not why Mary would feel compelled to honour or call attention to this with her presence, though I remember reading somewhere that she may have meant to affirm the decision to end the order due to its alleged diabolical activities, which first the secular powers determined to be occuring (as in France), and later the religious authorities also suspected.

Numerology is any of many systems, traditions or beliefs in a mystical or esoteric relationship between numbers and physical objects or living things.
Numerology and numerological divination by systems such as isopsephy were popular among early mathematicians, such as Pythagoras, but are no longer considered part of mathematics and are regarded as pseudomathematics by modern scientists.[1][2] This is similar to the historical relationships between astrology and astronomy, and between alchemy and chemistry.
Today, numerology is often associated with the occult, alongside astrology and similar divinatory arts.[citation needed]

The number 13 is associated with Fatima, this is clear.

And it is not a coincidence.

First, the apparitions occurred on the 13th of the month for a total of 6 months, making for 6 times Blessed Mary appeared on the 13th.

Then, on 13 June 1929, the Holy Trinity and Blessed Mary appeared to Sr. Lucia and made the request for the Act of Consecration.

On 13 May 1981, Pope JPII was shot as in the 3rd secret of Fatima.

Sr. Lucia died on 13 February 2005.

Do not scoff for the bible itself says God can and does use even small things to speak to us.

The simplest explanation is that the number 13 represents 1 God in Three Persons.

But it goes much further. Esther is a type (see Typology in the CCC) for Blessed Mary, and in the Book of Esther, we see the 13th of the month of Adar mentioned 6 times. (The 14, and 15th of Adar are also mentioned but not 6 times.)

The Persian King’s number 2 guy Haman convinced the king to kill all Jews (what would be the first Holocaust). The king agreed. Haman cast lots (purim) to determine the day upon which to exterminate the Jews - the thirteenth of Adar was set as the day.

Haman’s plans to kill the Jews were foiled by Esther, King Ahasuerus’s queen. Unbeknown to the king, Queen Esther was Jewish.

Jewish Queen Esther intervened to save her people, and instead of being annihilated on the 13th, they were delivered from annihilation.

Jews celebrate this yearly as the feast of Purim. This is the most plausible explanation for Queen Mary, who is Jewish, to appear on the 13th of the month six times, and through Fatima events to underscore the number 13.

Many great Catholic saints and mystics throughout the ages have prophesied that the glory of Blessed Mary will be made known as she herself will lead and help deliver her offspring from the snares of Satan in the end times.

The Book of Revelation has Blessed Mary face to face with the serpent
during the ‘time, times, and a half time’ which is the end times.
