Why did the blessed mother not mention the 4th mystery of the rosary when she appeared? I know it’s a ridiculous question but shouldn’t she have known there was a 4th mystery coming?
 
Do you mean the fourth set of mysteries known as the Luminous Mysteries suggested by JPII?

Why should she reveal this and confuse people?
There is a time for every purpose under heaven.
That was JPIIs time not hers.

Or she didn’t agree with his suggestion 🤣

When the Blessed Mother recommends devotions, she usually sticks to one set of them that is popular or at least known in the area at the time, or simple new prayers targeted to local needs. Same thing with appearances of other saints, or of Jesus.

There are thousands of historically and currently approved, official Rosary variants, often with different sets of meditations and Mysteries. Different parishes have different formats, often due to ethnic or missions order origin differences. Medieval Rosaries in Portugal were totally different than the Dominican Rosary format used today.

Mary had no reason to bring those up, either, so she didn’t.

Lets remember public revelation does not come through private revelation.
Such things may be fairy stories.
One is free to believe all details, some details or no details are true.
