Favorite/Best Catholic Blogs?

Call me an old f@rt, but I just don’t “get” the blog phenomenon (Catholic or otherwise).

Hey everybody - I was just wondering what everyone’s favorite blogs are? The reason I bring this up is that the annual Catholic Blog Awards are going on (they’re a pretty good way to figure out what the best Catholic blogs are):

I especially like the Curt Jester and (of course) Catholic Answer’s own Jimmy Akin (you can vote for his blog in a couple categories at the awards page).

So, who are your favorites?
 
Ditto on the Curt Jester and Jimmy Akin. I also read Open Book, The cafeteria is closed, Happy Catholic, and Catholic Fire. All great blogs that I check often.
 
Angry Twins - you just GOTTA check it out. Also, Maureen Martin’s blog, and The Anchoress.
 
I’ve been voting for Jimmy Akin, Jeff Miller, Mark Shea, and Danielle Bean. I’m always torn when they’re nominated in the same categories!
 
I think that Apolonio Latar III deserves votes if only because of his age and the level of theology he writes at. Go read his blog and try to put the theology he puts out onto a high school student.
 
The competition for “Best Religion Blog” at Blogger’s Choice Awards started off with an ATHEIST blog far in the lead.

Catholics took notice and have now pushed far ahead of the atheists. Please go sign up to vote for Catholic blogs. You may vote for as many as you like.

Such a competition is not of great value except in the potential for drawing attention to Christ and his Church through the publicity that Catholic blogs received.
