Probably ‘To Serve Mankind.’

The problem with “To Serve Mankind” is that it assumes homographs are the same between English and an alien language. They even mention in the scene where the talk about having only translated the title that they had translated uppercase but not lowercase letters, a convention not used by many languages on this planet.

Still it was a nice twist.

Yes, I’m aware that if you look closely at the plot it falls to pieces, and I haven’t seen it in ages so I’m remembering it from a kid’s point of view. However, I watched a ton of episodes at last year’s marathon screening, and few of them seemed to stand out like that one did. I also liked the Telly Savalas/talking doll episode.

If you watch a lot of episodes in one sitting, the formulaic quality of the writing becomes more apparent. After a while the individual episodes seem more alike than different.
