His album “Wisdom” is one of his contemplative works that I can listen to over and over. Makes great mood music.

He does a beautiful rendition of “The Angel Gabriel from Heaven Came.” It was on the radio during the Christmas season.
 
I forgot to mention a very good Catholic musican…David Casey!

Sorry, that seems to be one album that they don’t provide samples for. There are two samples from that CD that play on Windows real player at this site:

Strangly I am listening to that at this very moment. Welcome to Life and the End and the Beginning are a constant rotation in my CD player.

Matt Maher is new comer and I like his music alot. Very original.

John Michael Talbot is good for the quiet times.

I forgot yesterday-

Anything written by Geezer Butler, the bassist for Black Sabbath. Little known fact- before joining the band, he was studying to join the Priesthood.

He is to this day, a practicing and believing Christian and states that Sabbath’s music serves to warn people against the occult.

And that bass sound of his? Best described as the THUNDER OF HEAVEN. If you haven’t listened to the albums “Paranoid” or “Master of Reality”, pick 'em up now! GO GO GO GO GO!

A good friend of mine from college went to seminary for the Archdiocese of Denver and put a lot of work into a CD called “Hours,” and it is REALLY good. Tom Booth.

I love his outreach to youth. He put the Fragrance Prayer to music in a most beautiful setting and his song, “Taste of Heaven” (cd of the same name) just ignites in me a passion for the Eucharist!

I really love Danielle Rose, Marian Grace, L’Angelus, Matt Maher, and Father Stan Fortuna. I recently listened to Sara Hart and enjoyed her too.

For more traditional music, I love listening to the O Divino Nino CD from the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Any sort of Gregorian chant is nice too. For common songs often played at Mass, I liked Angelina.

Francesca LaRosa, Audrey Assad, and Matt Maher are my fav catholic songwriter+singers. You can find Francesca’s CDs in some catholic stores, Youtube videos (youtube.com/watch?v=zh8J99jIfHg). She’s an inspiration to all with her beautiful soul and voice that God has given her.

I listen to KLOVE radio, but prefer a catholic radio station with catholic music artists to support our religion in uplifting reverence and better understanding.

…a great piano Instrumental catholic musician is Jon Sarta (Catholic Music Projects- check out on YouTube)~ his music is so soothing!
 
Nathan Abshire is my favorite, a man who recorded some of the coolest music America has ever produced. Cajun music is overwhelmingly culturally Catholic, and it’s fun to explore. But yeah, Nathan Abshire was a thoroughly loveable guy, just really sweet and beautiful, and at the same time tough and hardboiled.
