The M&M’s with Santa—funny and cute.😃
Folgers with the oldest son coming home and mom says “Peter you made it” so sweet.

All time favorite though is the very old Coke ad from the 70’s- singing “I like to give the world a Coke…” I was a young teenager then and I just loved it.

I love the Pamper’s (diapers) Peace On Earth commercial that uses Silent Night’s first verse. Little babies, of all types, are sleeping…so beautiful. Mostly a shortened version plays, but I’ve heard the long version twice now (imagine “round yon Virgin, mother and child” actually being sung!)

The ones that stick in my head recently are two beer commercial ads:

One was from last year and I believe it was for Miller Lite and it was entitled “Enjoy the Lites”, which was taken from that vdeo of that guy who set up his Christmas lights to the “Wizards of Winter” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

The other one is for Heineken, and it came out right after the Enron scandal, with the background music of “Let it Snow”, and it shows an office party with snow falling, but the “snow” is really shredded documents:

Anyway, it was a cartoon of all these little birds chirping in trees all happy. Then you hear footsteps crunching in the snow. A cartoon man walks into the forest with a saw in his hand. The birds are all chirping in a frightened manner now, for fear he will cut down the tree they are in. All of a sudden he puts the saw up to his chin, like a violin player, and begins to play a carol on the musical saw (it might have been God Rest Ye Merry Gentlmen). There is one from a few years ago that cracked me up! I think it was for Staples or Office Max (one of those types of stores) - anyway, there was a family posing for a picture in front of the Christmas Tree and they were waiting for grandma to take their picture. The shot moves to grandma and she isn’t holding a camera - she’s holding a stapler. I dunno, maybe it’s just me, or maybe it’s one of those “you had to see it” things, but everytime we saw that commerical we were in stitches! :rotfl:
 
Oh my favorite Christmas commercial would have to be one from last year where there’s a father who is reviewing with his kids what they got for Christmas. The kids each got some type of cellular phone, and then dad says “And what did dad get?” Daughter: “Aftershave?” “No, Dad got hosed.” Makes me laugh everytime!

I never got the joke. What’s funny about that?

(I could never understand what the daughter was saying, but even now that I know, I still don’t get it.)

One is a man who is lost and sees a moose, goes thru a bad neighborhood and can’t find hiway 10.
The other is a woman shopping who goes to the mall, a big and tall store, gets chinese food, and goes to the salon for a waxing.

I agree completely! They are so funny; I identify completely with them, as well, as it is a family tradition to get hopelessly lost; hence, we own a Garmin! 🙂

One year later and Walmart is still playing the same Hersey Kisses commercial over and over again…Hey Walmart get a new one or turn it off:D please!!!
 
the Clydesdales going through the snow to the music, no mention of the beer, just the music.

sigh One year later and I’M still at WalMart listening to those blasted bells! The only thing that makes them bearable this year is that the WalMart radio network has been taken over by sadists who inexplicably turn up the volume whenever “Suzy Snowflake” is played.

NO ONE should have to listen to “Suzy Snowflake” blasting at full volume at 4 in the morning!
 
If you want one to make you gag, there is one by the Illinois State Lottery showing a woman winning the lottery from a ticket her boyfriend bought her, and the announcer begins with, “Sometimes you got to step back and remember what the holidays are all about…”
