What is your favorite Christmas song? And who is it by? :christmastree1:

Merry Christmas and God bless you.

O Holy Night, by pretty much anyone who can do it justice. Hearing this sung well makes me wish that I had the gift of evoking emotion with my voice (or even to just be able to carry a tune would be nice).

I like singing the carols … Joy to the World is up there … Love Julie Andrews & I Saw three ships go sailing by. Can’t have Xmas without Pachabell’s Cannon in D … Lo how a rose 'Er a blooming … Ave Maria … Jeanette Isabella … We three Kings … Ah, so many

" When Roses Bloomed Amid the Snow" Not sure of recording.

If you want a good O Holy Night, check out Willie K’s performanced, especially if using Ha’i techniques. Chicken skin!!

My newest favorite is one I only discovered last year. It’s called Winter Snow, sung by Audrey Assad. Very pretty and the lyrics are some that make me think.

God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman is mine too.
There is a parody of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” titled “The Restroom Door Said ‘Gentlemen’” about some joker who reversed the signs on some public restrooms and a guy went into a mis-labelled women’s restroom and came out with no “comfort or joy”🙂

Silent Night

Mary’s Boy Child

White Christmas

Andrews Sister’s Christmas Album

Away in the Manger

O Come All Ye Faithful

Im a first Noel Fan…by anyone really.
I like frosty the snowman and “Feed the World” too.
And Snoopy’s Christmas vs the Red Baron

Besides all the ol’ favorites, I recently heard this in a store, and I had to know what it was. I finally found out it is sung by a Caribbean group, Boney M. It’s the Christmas story sung with a reggae-flavor. They really capture the JOY of Christmas. (I love the styling of this video, too!)

You beat me to it, I was thinking about starting the same thread. My favorites are “An Unspotted Virgin” and “Come All Ye Faithful.” An Unspotted Virgin seems very catholic to me. Here is a link to the best version It is only a minute and a half long I have listened to it many times.
