Hi all!! Along with the Holy Rosary, what other devotions do you incorporate into your daily life? 🙂

I say morning prayers - a morning offering, 3 Hail Mary’s for purity (1 for purity of mind, 1 for purity of heart, and 1 for purity of body), Guardian Angel prayer, & St. Michael prayer. Sounds like a lot but only takes about 5 minutes.

At bedtime I do a brief examination of conscience then I pray an Act of Contrition, 3 Hail Mary’s again, Guardian Angel prayer (ever this night be at my side), and St. Michael Prayer.

The Rosary, Liturgy of the Hours, and I’m learning to use the Monastic Diurnal.

Rosary, hands down! I’m trying to learn the Divine Mercy, but keep tripping over what I call holy wording…

I have been praying the Rosary daily for almost a year and a half. I pray the Divine Mercy as well sometimes, but not daily (if I can’t do it at 3 o’clock, I don’t do it).

Me too.

I pray the Divine Mercy about half the year.

Rosary with Fatima prayer, St. Michael prayer, St. Benedict prayer, LotH (not all offices).

Our Lady Undoer of Knots when I’m faced with a tough situation.

I say the Liturgy of the Hours, which is not a devotion.
I was going to say something similar about LotH and daily mass.

So leaving those aside, I have a devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows and praying the Chaplet of the Seven Dolors of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

With the promises given to St Bridget and the writings of numerous saints on Our Lady’s tears, I am saddened that more people aren’t aware of the graces from joining the BVM to weep daily at the foot of the cross.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus devotion is my favorite! I also like the Divine Mercy Chaplet very much!

May God bless you all! 🙂

i use an app called laudate (ios and android). it has a lot to chose from and you can bookmark your favorites. i like that they also have a few audio prayers and podcast.

i especially like the divine mercy chaplet, litany of the sacred heart of Jesus, padre pio prayer, te deum, pope clement’s universal prayer and aspirations to our Lord.

prayer is so comforting if we just make time for it

yes i struggle with making time and being attentive.

The Rosary. 15 Hail Marys for the Angelic Warfare confraternity. Many prayers and daily small sacrifices for the poor souls in purgatory. The Angelus. I think the Litany of Humility is very important, and I try to fit that in at least once weekly. I try to use a few of the daily and evening prayers from Blessed Be God. I try to do small sacrifices in reparation for the blasphemies against the Sacred Heart of Mary. I try and fit in spiritual reading a few times a week.

If I had my druthers, I would give up everything and join a monastery and live a life of penance for the wicked life I led when I was young, but since this isn’t really a practical option for me, due to my family and other factors, this is the best I can do for now.
i sometimes think the same thing. we have to remember we are forgiven. the past is no more and we are new creatures in Christ.
