What is your favorite EWTN show? Mine is “Women of Grace”, and “The Catholic View For Women” as a close second. I love “WOG” because I just love Johnette Benkovic. I’ve also read her book “Full of Grace”, and the book is an autographed copy to my mother, with a little message to her written by Johnette, and my mother has even spoken to her on the telephone years ago! I hadn’t even known about this until recently, and thought it was something!🙂

Mine is “The World Over”. I really like the fact that it’s a talk show from a Catholic perspective. I still got the interview with Cardinal Kasper that I want to watch.

While technically not a show, I love the papal coverage that EWTN provides.

Journey Home and The World Over. I love EWTN and am grateful for its programming and availability.

Mary.

  1. Chapulet of St Michale with Mother Angelica
  2. Women of Grace
  3. The Friar

I love Father Leo’s cooking show! I also love The Journey Home, The World Over and all the special coverage of events in Rome. I love it when they show the John Paul II movie and I adore Mother Angelica so I love watching her classic shows.

I don’t remember the name, but actors would talk about moral issues surrounding acting and filmmaking. “Holywood Studio”, I think?

“Life Is Worth Living” with Bishop Fulton Sheen. Relaxes me at night.

the journey home, vaticano, nightly news, life on the rock, world over.

For the longest time, it was Life on the Rock, and Journey Home, but Sunday Night Live ranked right up there as well. And the World Over Live.

All wonderful shows for various audiences.

EWTN is especially nice for those who travel. It provides a spiritual ‘home base’ no matter where you are, especially given the ‘alone’ time. Tuning into EWTN makes the old saying, “God is Everywhere” so wonderfully true.

God Bless EWTN.

I usually like to watch religious programming at night when I am settling down to go to sleep. I have tried EWTN many times and I just can’t get into it. I find all the shows terribly boring. It is always either a big mass in Rome or two guys in beards having a boring conversation.

Haha NormtheRobot–I don’t like watching Mass on TV either, or listening to it on radio. I like to be there in person.

But what type of program would you like to see?

My top 5 favorites:
  1. Web of Faith
  2. Threshold of Hope - the one with Fr. Pacwa in it
  3. The Journey Home
  4. Life on the Rock
  5. EWTN Live

True that. When I was staying near Manchester with my great aunt and her family, I always tuned in to EWTN on my phone on every night of my 2-week stay there. My great aunt and her family are all born-again Christians, and their style of preaching is very engaging and very lively, but it lacks the rationality and soundness that Catholicism has (:D), and EWTN has nourished my spirituality during those times; otherwise I would have been sucked into their church and become one of them.

I am truly grateful for EWTN. 🙂
