What comedies do you like?

Some of the ones I like are:

*Some Like it Hot

Young Frankenstein

Big Fat Greek Wedding

Airplane

The In-Laws

Jerry Lewis “The Bellboy” clean, funny, suitable for families 👍

I remember watching We’re The Millers when I was really upset and I remember laughing like crazy at it, but a warning: very inappropriate!!!

I prefer watching funny tv shows, much less exhausting 🙂

Weird Al Yankovic’s “UHF” can always make me laugh out loud.

“Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines” is old-school fun at its finest.

And there’s a ton of Laurel and Hardy movies which deserve Oscars for Funniest Movie. Special mention of “Sons of the Desert.” :D:D:D

1.) Any of the Bob Hope-Bing Crosby ‘Road’ films

2.) It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World

3.) Grumpy Old Men

Love and Death

and another one that most people will be mad if I post it, but it’s my all time favorite hysterically funny movie.
😉

Pillow Talk

Man’s Favorite Sport

There’s Something About Mary

White Chicks

Any of the Marx Brothers Films
  • Better off Dead
  • The Replacements
  • The In-Laws (Peter Falk version)
  • Monty Python and the Holy Grail
  • Life of Brian

The original “In-Laws” for sure (“Serpentine, Shel! Serpentine!”)\

“Arsenic and Old Lace”

I like some of the early work of Woody Allen, including Sleeper, Bananas, Take the Money and Run, and others.

One comedy-thriller I enjoy is Foul Play with Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn. Also, the original The Out-of-Towners with Jack Lemmon and Sandy Dennis is great.

There was a spoof on soap operas called The Shameful Secrets of Hastings Corners that was hilarious.

My father’s favorite comedy was the British film, The Wrong Box, but I never cared for that one. I do like Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life as well as Benny Hill sketches.

Finally, it’s hard to beat After Hours in the black comedy genre.
