Yes, the Passion was a great movie, but I was thinking of movies in which they acted. It’s true, Mel’s hand did appear as the one nailing Christ to the cross, but that was more of a cameo.

I haven’t seen all that many Robin Williams pictures, but among the ones I know, I would definitely recommend Awakenings.

And for Mel Gibson, Braveheart.

Mel: Braveheart
Robin: Boulevard (his last film- filmed in Nashville) ❤️💙😭

For a Robin Williams movie jumanji is a great movie. Mel Gibson I am kinda torn between Braveheart, the patriot and The Passion of Christ. All of them quality movies imo

I will have to see Patriot. Thank you.

Jumanji , as a movie, was a bit too simplistic in story line and whatnot.

Welcome its one of those movies a can watch time and time again. Granted it is a little lacking , but for some reason I find Robin Williams quite funny in it.

Yes, I also enjoyed Mel in The Patriot. I’d forgotten that one.

Jumanji is frightening.

You should watch the Passion.
Equally frightening, but for a much larger reason.
Lent is the perfect time to watch it.

Yes, I’ve seen the Passion. I thought Jumanji pretty silly but not frightening.

Guess no one here liked mad max much. It is quite ummm violent.

Most all of Mel’s movies are violent. He seems to like that. Mad Max, and all those Lethal Weapon movies with Danny Glover. The thing about his Mad Max roles is that he didn’t have a lot of dialogue or display much emotion. He was more of the strong silent brooding type. Anyway, I found all those movies a little disturbing. Dystopian futures aren’t necessarily my favorite theme.

I do not like movies that make violence its’ main theme.
I really loathe the “Freddy Kruger” style films and find nothing entertaining in watching someone murdered while the killer makes one liner jokes.

Good Morning Vietnam
Lethal Weapon I (although the Lethal Weapon movies with Joe Pesci were fun)
