I love the Proclaimation of the Gospel, all the Alleluias and the organ. I also love the Eucharistic prayers the priest recites. All the meaning, the praise and glory given to God and Jesus, it is just wonderful. What do you like the best?

The beautiful “Last” Gospel of St. John, At the end of the Tridentine Mass
I Particularly like when everyone genuflects at the words, Et verbum caro factum est
Our Monsignor said. That is our final act of faith, in the divinity of Christ.

To adore the Incarnate Son of God and honor the mystery 0f His incarnation, As the foundation of our adoption as sons of God, We genuflect at the words ET VERBUM CARO FACTUM EST

Kneeling at the communion rail and receiving our Lord in Holy Communion.

I love singing the Gloria and Credo during Latin Mass…but my favorite part is kneeling at the Altar Rail and receiving our Lord in the Eucharist.

I love singing the Gloria. I love kneeling before the Body of Christ.

Today was especially wonderful. I went to the Ordination Mass for our Diocese and saw seven priests ordained into the priesthood. This was the first Ordination Mass I have gone to (I just converted last year). It was INCREDIBLE!! AND AWESOME!! :clapping: :dancing: I loved singing the Litany of the Saints, seeing all the priests in the diocese lay their hands on each of the new priests, and seeing the new priests changing their vestments. I was in heaven for two and a half hours. It was truly an experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. 😃

I really like the flow of prayers from the invitation to the Our Father through the invitation to the sign of peace.

I like the hymns–especially the more Eucharist-centered ones…they seem to be more beautiful than the others (although I like a good “Veni Sancte Spiritus” that chills the spine as much as the next man…).

I also like knowing that among all the people in our town, going to all the churches in our town, our church has the Lord actually present in the Eucharist! (although I guess the “Wherever two or three are gathered” line can come to mind here…however, we have His body and blood too…)

The feeling of community is great too. Some of my best friends–people that are like family even–I know because of the church.

That’s Easy! There’s really only one part of the Mass I enjoy. It begins about 10 minutes before Mass starts and ends about 10 minutes before the next Mass I attend!

NotWorthy

P.S. I really enjoy the “Glory to God” when sung during the Easter Vigil! Several parishioners bring bells to ring as they sing this (I ALWAYS forget to bring mine) and it is truly a celebration of Christ’s risen glory!

Apart from receiving communion I love when the Eucharist is held up by the priest. It always triggers an internal emotional reaction (I don’t weep or anything but on the inside I am deeply moved at how unworthy I am to be present at such an event etc.)

Besides the Eucharist, my favorite part is when the priest elevates the Body and Blood of Christ and says, “This is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world; happy are we who are invited to His supper.” then “Lord, I am not worthy to recieve You, but only say the word and I shall be healed.” I think it’s called the doxology, (when I was little, I always wanted to know what the specific word (“say the word” )was that would heal us)

Receiving communion is definitely the best part of the Mass. But other than that, my favorite part is where the priest elevates the host and the chalice and the server rings the little bells. I always pray silently, My Lord and my God.

THE WHOLE MASS - each part( rite) has a special place & brings out different emotions or moods, from weeping to joy.:amen:

Years ago I would have said hearing the words “Ite missa est” or “Mass is ended” now I can’t get enough and love the whole thing.
