What is everyone’s favorite place that they have prayed the rosary?
Mine is when I prayed the rosary when I was sitting on the balcony of my room on a cruise ship. As far as I could see was the ocean and it was beautiful.

Mine isn’t that special, just our school chapel.

Wait a second… you were praying the rosary (assuming you had a physical rosary in hand) on a balcony on a ship over water. You’re a brave soul my friend

In the Church along with some beloved friends who have since died and in an old chapel with our youth group.

One time in the gym when there were 100+ kids under age 12 all praying together.

I had it wrapped around my other hand to be sure it didn’t fall. It made it more difficult to utilize the rosary, but the beauty of the scene and looking at God’s creation made the extra effort worth it 100 fold

“Ave Maria gratia plena, Dominus teee… Oi oi mama mia don’t fall… cum” is how that must’ve went 🙂 Must’ve been gorgeous though

Another thing on my Catholic ‘to-do’ list is memorizing the prayers of the Rosary in Latin… It sounds amazing…

I can maybe do a “Hail Mary”, “Our Father” and “Gloria” and maybe maybe even the Fatima prayer but “Hail Holy Queen” and “Oh God Whose only Begotten Son” and let us not forget… the monstrosity that is the Apostle’s Creed… yeah that’s hard, and I’ve got an advantage since my languge is based on Latin and I still think it is hard.

Lying on my back in the cemetery where my maternal grandparents are buried. It’s a country cemetery in a rural area and the wind through the trees and looking at the blue sky and thinking of Mary’s mantle was almost too much.

I just discovered praying the Rosary on my exercycle. I do it using the Laudate app, using the single image version. I never learned the “Hail Holy Queen”, and it includes meditations on the mystery of the day.

My all-star favorite, however, is parish rosary before Mass.

I like to pray on the giant rosary at the Basilica of Our Lady of Fatima in Lewiston, NY.

I liked praying at the real Fatima and Lourdes too. It’s nice that you can pray practically right on the apparition spot.

in padre pios old church our lady of grace - tiny church, had it to myself practically

It’s an awesome shrine. It has hundreds of life size saint statues and a giant Mary on the dome, and you can climb up to the dome to see Mary up close and see the view.

What gets me is that the Church Latin pronunciations are not the same as the classical Latin I was taught.
I would have been marked down in Latin class if I’d used soft C and other things.

In a beautiful little abbey with a friend in the lady chapel, we were the people there.

Also before the icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Rome.

In all honesty though I like to pray the rosary at home. It’s a great comfort being at home with Mama.

hey, thats what happens when more than 90% of all popes have been spaghetti enthusiasts 😃
