they are wonderful chants. i wish they could be reinstated as the official liturgical songs during mass.

I think spiritual music uplifts the soul and begin prayers or prepares one for prayers. I like the fact that you can listen to vespers online…so many ways to prepare for prayers

Thank you for sharing all the beautiful music. I have enjoyed listening to all of them and hope that the members will choose their favorites and share others on line. I was amazed at the last post that I had listened to with the young adults, their voices are amazing.

It is remembering some of the Catholic music and how beautiful it sounds.

P.S. Monteverdi’s 1610 Vespers is one of my favorites.
 

I love this version. The soloist in the 2nd and 3rd part does a good job.
