Which part of the mass touches you the most? Besides Communion I mean.

I always feel touched when chanting/saying “Lamb of God….” I don’t know why but I feel most united to the Mystery at that moment and it is one of my favorite prayers in the Mass. The other part which I love is the Gloria on account of its ‘doxology’( I have a great affinity for Trinitarian statements). Sometimes, I often feel that what I sing doesn’t fully ‘register’. But when I started to concentrate deeply on the words I always felt most joyful when singing “You are the Holy One, You alone are the Lord, You alone are the most High”, etc.
 
I would say the doxology (Great Amen), for many reasons too long to explain here. "Through Him, with Him, in Him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours, almighty Father, forever and ever. AMEN.
 
The Sanctus I love singing or saying it. I love the sound that all the kneelers make as they are lowered to the floor at the end. I don’t know but it sounds like Pavlov’s dog experiments because it tells me what’s coming next…food for the soul and a little bit of Heaven
 
I like the alleluia before and after the reading of the Gospel. The louder the better. I went to the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel in Charleston S.C. on vacation and the way they sung the Alleluia and the Gloria with all the incense and trumpets I thought I was in Heaven!!! 😃
 
The Agnus Dei- makes me think of Jesus on the cross.

Also i like the way the Gloria is said here
(in tagalog).
the tempo is lively in the first part from “Glory to God” up to “have mercy on us”; then the tempo becomes slow and solemn at the part “You are seated at the right hand” up to “receive our prayer”. then the tempo becomes upbeat again in “for you alone are the holy one” up to “in the Glory of God the Father” but at the “in the Glory of God the Father” part the tempo becomes solemn again. the bells are usually rung at the beginning of the hymn and again at the final part. 🙂

Well, it’s a toss up between the sign of peace and the rounds of applause (just kidding) 😃

For me, it’s definitley the epiclesis. I love when the priest prays the invocation to God to send the Holy Spirit upon the gifts to transform them into the body and blood of Christ.
 
The Mystery of Faith:

“Dying You destroyed our death, Rising You restored our life, Lord Jesus, come in Glory!”

Or

“By Your Cross and Resurection, You have set us free. You are the Savior of the World.”

Or even (I know it’s new and won’t be around after the new translations come out, but what a mystery to ponder!):

“Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again!”

My bad, I keep getting the two ‘mysterium fidei’ and ‘novi et aeterni testamenti’ mixed up].
 
I’m with Fidei Defensor on this one. The consecration is by far (next to receiving the Eucharist) the highest point in the Mass for me. Christ is truly present in a very real way at consecration. There He is on the altar; Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. He gives His life to us as a sacrifice at that moment. Once for all and in perpetuity, He sacrifices Himself, and turns the simple offering of unleavened bread into an Offering that encompasses the universe in its smallest particle.

What more mysterious, wonderful thing could happen? God become Man, and giving us His Body to eat until He comes again in glory. It gets me every time.
