Favourite Prayers

I favor the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Rosary though I appreciate other prayers as well.
 
I always thought of chaplets (such as Divine Mercy, Infant of Prague, Holy Wonds, and St. Michael), the rosary, and the Way of the Cross, as devotions rather than prayers, because they synthesize a group of prayers with meditation. I appreciate such devotions too, but thought the intent of the thread was to solicit individual prayers.
 
My favourite is the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel. It tends to remind me of who’s name I share.

Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in the day of battle; be our safeguard against the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust down to Hell Satan and with him all the wicked spirits, who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
