Favourite works by Popes?

Hey all!

What are your favourite works, publications,compiliations of addresses, encyclicals, etc. by the Popes of our church?

I have to confess I haven’t sunk my teeth into some of the most prominent ones of more recent times (Jesus of Nazareth, JPII’s Theology of the Body). I do have Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI’s “Doctors of the Church” and “A School of Prayer” (though they will have to wait until I am done with Athanasius ).

Anyway, which are your favourites?

If youre interested in the Liturgy, then “the Spirit of the Liturgy” by then Cardinal Ratzinger is very good. His book on Eschatology is great too.

Both of these look super interesting, especially Eschatology, and have been added to my ever-growing Amazon wishlist haha
