When teens are having sex, someone failed somewhere. The “morning after pill” is too late!

I don’t think the problem is in eliminating the pill, or access to the pill, inasmuch as the problem lies is in eliminating the “supposed” need for this pill.

(I agree with the Apologists on CAL who have shared that when a woman is raped, her hormones can be checked to see if she has ovulated. If she has not ovulated, she may take this pill. If she has ovulated, she may not take this pill.)

See msnbc.msn.com/id/30350234/.

To me, it is completely insane to allow minors access to the “morning after pill”, contraception, and abortion without parental consent when parents must consent to allow the same child to have their ears pierced.

Completely crazy.

These same kids can’t be given a Tylenol by a school nurse w/o parental permission (or in my kids’ school w/out a form signed by a doctor).

And I get carded when I buy cough medicine.

Plan “B” = murder your baby without telling your parents so you can blame them 20 years later for not stopping you from doing this incredible evil, just so you can have sex with anyone you want???..

The same liberals who hate “big pharmaceuticals” because they sell our souls for $$$$$, seem to love “BIG PLAN B”.

HYPOCRITES ALL!!!

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, Ora Pro Nobis Peccatoribus!

Personally, I see nothing wrong with this. I honestly think the morning after pill should be available to all people over the counter. It would really help to cut down on unwanted pregnancies.

I’ve changed my mind. The morning after pill shouldn’t even be legal. It’s an abortion pill.

What is interesting is that last night on the local network news, they covered this. The anchor actually said Plan B was large doses of birth control pills given to end a pregnancy. That’s pretty blunt and I was glad they weren’t sugar coating it. Nor did they do the usual trick of getting a quote from some PP person praising the change in the rule. Thank goodness for small favors.

Evil and insane. Since it can be purchased without a prescription and only with proof of age, it’s easy to forsee a booming “school-yard trade” in these pills, with 17-year-olds buying them at multiple pharmacies, then selling them to 16ers and 15ers…who will then ingest these large quantities of hormones which will do just what to their developing bodies (in addition to killing the embryo). I wonder if only girls will be able to buy these…or if the regulations allow the “boyfriends” to obtain them also…thereby increasing the “underground” supply.

Or dumping the pills in drink prior to date-raping the girls. Or forcing their g/f to take these pills even when she wants to keep the baby. I wonder if they’ve studied what happens if you get 2 doses back-to-back (in the date rape scenario for instance). Did they even study the effect these pills have on an adolescent body? Probably not… just like the HPV vaccine - most study participants are adults - usually over 24 or so… Not a good idea IMO.
