Fear of Certitude

In chapter 30 of Frank Sheed’s Theology and Sanity, he says that “fear of certitude is a disease of the will. The intellect is not really in doubt. It is the will that persuades it that it is.” How would one correct this ‘disease’ of the will in themselves or others?
