Feast day for Adam and Eve?

Please help.

Why is there not a feast day for Adam and Eve?

Please advise.

I seem to recall that there once was such a day, sometime around Christmas.

However, now it seems to be gone.

Why?

It is December 24th in the West. This would contradict what Fr. Holweck said in his book about the West not granting them the honours of saints!
