Feast day of Saint Louis Mary de Montfort

🙂 Hi Water, Something is in the air. Believe it or not, I just went to my kitchen and grabbed my Catholic calendar, and was thinking how wonderful this week is going to be. Monday, St Louis Mary de Monfort. Tuesday, St Catherine of Siena. Wednesday, Pope Pius V. Thursday, The Ascension of The Lord. Friday, St Anthanasius. Saturday, Sts James and Philip.

And I had been thinking about my devotion to Our Lady as well, with May coming up.

I’ll join you in prayer to St Louis Mary de Monfort for his intercession. 👍
 
No one calls St. Louis “Mary” it is “Marie”, quit messing with people water, if something here is outside of the norm, it should be told to the police.

Hi SongofSheperds,

I re-read your reply to my post on this thread and also a surprise Private message from you to me , and it blew my mind away … but I started to understand why you responded to my post the way you did. I am still surprised and in shock (sad) but I think you have mistaken me with somebody else.

SongofShepherds, I chose not to communicate in Private mesage. Let me know if you are still thinking that I am who you thought I was. Last time you had apologized but then you said you were still suspicious about me. If you do, please write it all out here.

It is better to make this matter clearly and done with this. I don’t want you to have go through all my posts on this forum and feel suspicious about me for something that I had never done. Besides, with no evidence, you might want not to think of me the way you did. It might be quite sinful to jugde someone in that kind of way and it is not certainly spiritually healthy for you either.

Ok, I was dissapointed you were not on these boards this weekend, so, I in turn will do a week penance if I offended and include you in my intentions in a Rosary! Maybe a bit too severe, but I will include that in my Rosary, as it felt good when today I said Chaplet of Divine Mercy earlier today in Adoration, for our soldiers overseas, walked out and saw a US flag in the entry way, it really spoke to me.

I should not be on the net, though it is largely fun!

I am really confused. Why were you disappointed? Yes, you have offended me very much, and frankly, I don’t think we know each other. Thank you for praying though but make sure you know what you are doing.

By the way, why would you pray the rosary, Divine Mercy and greet with a Buddhist religious greeting?

Because it is the little bit of Vietnamese that I know! But I do have a whole CD pack to learn and those are very fine people…so it is nothing I am shy about, I know enough of both faiths from there is that they aren’t critical about that.

How about when you mentioned Alaska the other day?

Maybe I am to understand, the plating wears off of some rosary chains or tarnishment or oxidation happens, that may be an explanation, I have a rosary just like this one, leafletonline.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=664 , Monday, I got it out of my case the other day in the Adoration Chapel, and I stared at it, all of the links had changed their color! I turned around, this lady had some sort of a prayer book, “gold prayers” or something, I went home and in the parking lot, was a little gold sequined lacey flower, means nothing but I picked it up, must have been a part of something. This subject has been covered in these threads below and was closed, because an “unapproved apparition” came up. Even saying such a thing, I don’t quite think is proper, but it made me feel good about myself nonetheless… sometimes, things don’t go our way, in fact, are difficult, but this still made me feel good, I’ve prayed on enough different rosaries to never see this happen in addition as collecting some for the Church once and we got some real old ones. It’s not like a brilliant yellow gold but it faintly turned to a shade of that color.

I once had a rose pedal rosary, I wish I still had that one.

“God Alone” the works of St. Louis de Montfort written by him, including “Secret of the Rosary” and “Jesus Through Mary” are rather excellent books,

But you know, please read on, that book, “He and I” by er, Gabrielle Bossis, there are these personal type revelations book, I guess St. Faustina, Bless Her Heart, is approved, well, again, can this be an accepted topic I wonder, “He and I” just seems very full, very inspirational, very good and the thing is, is, reading your blog, some things, I think you might like it too. I only read it in the Chapel… but it is very worthwhile.

Hey, I said, the Hmong can never hurt me, what ever they’d do and in turn, well, Vietnamese people have treated me well, can’t offend me.
 
I did a few things, maybe favorable in God’s eyes last week, nothing to brag about, so I humbly wonder if I was rewarded, cause otherwise, things can be very difficult.
 
Great story, people are stalked, tormented, worst things people do, and then some light shines.

It’s like watching the Passion of the Christ, the Roman soldiers stick that crown on, thorns into the Messiah’s head, bleeding and just laugh, ** they can not address nor even recognize** the wrongs they did, **they falsely accused him. **
De Montfort had a great way of saying the Rosary, he would add in something after the each Hail Mary, for example, for the Sorrowful Mystery, "Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee… and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus “crowned with thorns” or say the fourteenth mystery, Jesus “raising thee up”- page 237, God Alone
