When the Feast of the Immaculate Conception is on a Friday, then is that Friday still considered a day of penance?
 
I second that emotion. Eat that meat, and celebrate the Immaculate Conception! 👍

OR - you could still abstain and offer it up for the poor souls in Purgatory! 😉
