Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

This year this solemnity is scheduled for June 27, the Friday after Corpus Christi, but I thought it was supposed to fall on the Friday AFTER the OCTAVE of Corpus Christi. (Even though there technically isn’t a legit “octave” anymore.) It is also supposed to fall 19 days after Pentecost, which it does, but why is it a week earlier than usual? Or am I just reasoning through this incorrectly.

The date is correct. Corpus Christ is traditionally the Thurs after Trinity, so its octave ends this year on the 26th, and the following say, as usual, is the Sacred Heart.

It does fall on the Friday after the octave of Corpus Christi. This year the actual feast of Corpus Christi is on Thursday, 19 June. Sacred Heart is on Friday, 27 June.
