Could someone give me the accurate date for the feast of St. Albert of Jerusalem? My research is coming up with conflicting dates usually in September.
St. Albert wrote the Carmelite Rule for the first Carmelites.

Thank you …Barb:)

Thank you, Brother:thumbsup: …I can now quote the actual date of the feast on good authority:thumbsup: . September 17 does seem to be the most common among the conflicting dates I did come across…Barb:)

In the Roman Martyrology (2004) he is listed under September 14 (his day of death) with the following entry:
He is observed on the 17th by the Carmelites because his memory is impeded by the Exaltation(Triumph) of the Holy Cross in the Universal Calendar.
