Dear Brothers and Sisters,
This very brief entry seems appropriate for today’s Feast of the Sacred Heart, 2016. St. Faustina wrote:
I have felt for a long time that Jesus’ work in the soul of St. Faustina was very much like the revelations He gave to St. Margaret Mary. The Love of His Heart has been so wounded by sin that He makes Himself known to some souls so they may share with many others, the need for all of us to return love for Love. Today on this Feast of the Sacred Heart, let us spend time pondering the Great Love of Jesus on the Cross. We may never be asked to endure the pain of His Passion as some saints have but by God’s Grace, we can do little acts of reparation with Great love! We can also assist priests in their ministering the Sacraments of Penance and Eucharist by our prayers for all souls.
O my Jesus, pardon us and save us from the fires of hell, draw all souls to heaven especially those in most need of Your Mercy.
O Blood and Water that gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus, have Mercy on us.

The Feast of the Sacred Heart is a Feast which Jesus requested in His Final apparition to St. Margaret Mary in 1675. Showing her His Divine Heart, He asked of St. Margaret Mary, a Visitandine nun, that the Friday after the Octave of Corpus Christi be set apart for a special Feast to honor His Heart, by communicating on that day and making reparation to It by a solemn act, in order to make amends for the indignities which It has received during the time It has been exposed on the altars.931 February 10, 1937. Today is Ash Wednesday. During Holy Mass, I felt for a short time, the Passion of Jesus in my members. Lent is a very special time for the work of priests. We should assist them in rescuing souls.
