I am seriously denying that. If it’s so “well-recognized” then what is the “impact” on development? What is your concern? That the children will become gay? Think about why that makes no sense.

The vast majority of gays were raised by heterosexual parents. You don’t automatically follow the sexual preference of your parents. You are born with it.

Handedness has nothing to do with parenting, exactly. Neither does sexual preference. (By the way, I’m sure most kids would notice if their parents used the “wrong” hand to pick up their forks).

The key is the Nuns dont have homosexual sex. Children should not be placed with people who engage in deviant sexual behavior.
 
Imagine23- you seem to have a habit of drawing conclusions inconsistent with evidence. Read the FAQ again. The church was relatively enlightened.

Accepting the 5000 dead over 300 years figure amounts to some 167 people per year.

Now it would suck to be one of those 167, but try for a little perspective, please.

Between executions and police actions and putdowns of insurrections and the like our own government has killed more people than that in 300 years.

And we’re pikers compared to the “bad guys.”

There is no evidence that sexual activity is soleley determined by birth. There is certainly evidence that environment impacts behavior.

and no these statistics show a marked difference in general between the lifestyles on average of those proclaiming a sexual lifestyle in opposition to Christian mores.

The doctors cite the Journal of Homosexuality in demonstrating an overlap between the homosexual activist movement and the promoters of pedophilia. Moreover, the paper references studies showing that while “the number of homosexuals in essentially all surveys is less than 3%,” “the percentage of homosexuals among pedophiles is 25%.” It concludes: “Therefore, the prevalence of pedophilia among homosexuals is about 10-25 times higher than one would expect if the proportion of pedophiles were evenly distributed within the (hetero- and homosexual) populations.”

This should shatter the notion that mortally sinful sexual behaviour is as innocuous as handedness.

and 99% of all fatalities from breast cancer occur in women. DOes this mean children should be raised in only all male households? The pedophila link doesn’t make sense. Pedophiles are attracted to children. THat they may be attracted to male children doesn’t make them homosexuals.

The analogy concerning breast cancer does not work. Cancer is a disease that afflicts someone; homosexual behaviior is a gravely sinful activity that someone chooses. The statistics show a negative impact on the life of the individual which would adversely impact the child.

Pedophiles attracted to male children is a form of homosexual relations (same sex) with the added sin against justice as the child could not make an informed decision.

I wasn’t comparing breast cancer to homosexuality I was comparing it to AIDS.
