I feel so empty and alone. My gf left me but I love her with all my heart. It seems everything I am praying for not to happen is happening. I don’t know what to do so I keep praying. I am so lost and slipping into depression. 😦

Break ups are never an easy thing. You are doing the right thing by continuing to pray, and I think you realize the true purpose of prayer now. We don’t always get what we want, we get what God wills us to have. Make your prayers a plea to accept God’s will – whatever it is. Time reveals all things. Take this from someone who has had to go through a few painful break-ups to finally find the woman God willed me to have as my wife 🙂

I know it hurts now, but it gets better. Trust me. I speak from experience. Offer up the sadness to God for your sins, the sins of the world, and for intentions of our Holy Father.

May God’s peace be with you.
 
Merciful Lord, when Your children cry out to You from the darkness will you not hear them? We ask in submission to Your will, to comfort Mickddp in his sufferings. Please hear his prayers, offer him refreshment. Lend a special ear to his prayers made from by Your side on the Cross. Mary, pray with us. Amen. :gopray2:
 
Jesus please help Mick in his loss. It is very painful to lose someone we love, and so difficult to be powerless to change their mind. Mick deserves someone who genuinely loves and chooses him, and this girl doesn’t. Please help him to cope with the loss of his dreams regarding her, and to be able to recover. I place him in Your care, Jesus

My prayers go out for you …Lord please bring Mick much relief from his pain and sadness…Let him know that he is not alone, stay near him ,and place all the help you can around him ,to get through this. Let him know all the brothers and sisters he has right here ,that are praying and wishing him all the best… May our mutual faith bring him out of this depression ,and know he can get through this ,and he will have a wonderful future…Amen…Mick don’t forget God is your rock and strength…He will never forsake you…With Warmth & Aloha, LynneMarie
 
You are definitely doing the right thing by continuing to pray. Its times like this we need to turn to God even more; He will always love you and look after you.

Praying that you may find peace and healing.

I read your previous thread on about your girlfriend, you seem to be really hurt by this, and you have every right to be, I wanna let you know though that God is looking over you and this girl and he knows whats best, you have to trust and believe in him, he wont make any mistakes. Think of it this way too, there is a lot of people out there who end up breaking off their relationship for abit, but they find each other again, because it was meant to be, and even though this is a hard time for you, something good will come out of it. Do you talk to this girl much now? (assuming you do) do you let her know how much your willing to make things work?.. God has a plan for you, if it was meant to be she will come back to you:) …

Try and cheer up though, i know its easier said than done… but go out with your friends, pray lots, and leave the rest to God alright?🙂 Take care.

Yea I still talk to her everyday. And I saw her last night. I thought we were going to get back together but it was just a tease. And she is doing things to me right now that just really hurt. I tell her everyday that I am willing to make things work and tell her how much I love her. Thank you everyone for the continued prayers. I am just really at a loss over this.
 
Hi Mickddp , you’re in my prayers as well , it’s hard to feel lonely and empty , may Lord give you comfort , strenght and inner peace . May Lord help you through , take away loneliness and grant hope for the future .
