Feeling hopeless is so many ways

Please pray for me and my family. I would really appreciate some prayers for my faith to be increased, for me to find some encouragement in some way, for my baby to be healed, and for the ability to remain hopeful, gentle and positive as a mother to my kids. Also pray for me to have the patience to wait for God to answer these prayers in the way He sees fit.

Most of all, pray that I can be the loving mother God made me to be, in the face of all these trials, because it is really hard for me right now.

Today is the Feast Day of Blessed Marie of the Incarnation. I will pray for her to bless your family, especially you and your baby.

Other saints: Blessed Marie of the Incarnation (1566 - 1618)

She was born in Paris and married at the age of 18. She was an exemplary wife and mother. Left an invalid after a fall from a horse, **she was widely known for her virtue, her supernatural gifts, and especially her charity towards the poor and the sick **in the hospitals. In 1601 there appeared a French translation of Ribera’s life of St Teresa of Ávila. Inspired by this and a vision of St Teresa herself, she founded Carmelite convents and after the death of her husband in 1613 she asked to be received as a lay sister in the poorest convent that could be found. She died in April 1618, by which time there were fourteen Carmelite convents in France. She had also shared in the foundation of the Oratory and the Ursulines. Praying for you. I’m glad you posted. Be patient with yourself. I’m going through some of those very same motherhood trials and will offer my sufferings this weekend for you.

Lord, please help Maggie to keep strong in faith, hope and love; and help her to persevere. May she hand over her problems to your Mother and let Mary help out her situation. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

As You commanded the storm winds at sea to be calm,
command the storms in my life to be calmed.
Give me the patience I need
to cope with the burdens and anxieties of my life.
Grant me the strength to better deal with my problems,
and the understanding to be more tolerant
and kind to others.
Teach me to seek after Your will
which alone brings peace of mind
and peace of heart.

:console: I’m sorry for your difficult trials right now. Jesus loves you and your children so very much, even if you can’t feel it right now. It’s hard to feel His loving embrace when we are suffering so much. But He really and truly is there for you loving you and guiding you along His pathway to heaven for you. These trials will help you reach the joy and peace that never ends if only you remain faithful and follow Jesus along His way of the cross. Prayers for you! :hug3:
