Hello everyone. I am asking for prayers, because I am going through a very rough time right now. My husband decided to stop going to church all of the sudden. He has begun questioning our faith which has led him to stop practicing. This is very hard for me, because I am passionate about our faith. We have started arguing more and more. He has told me that he believes the reason we do not have children is because we are not meant to be together. This is all very hard for me to swallow. I have been praying to conceive for 6months now and it has not happened yet. I do not believe that divorce is the answer and I am just struggling with all of this. Please pray for his heart and for mine as well. I just feel so very lost right now.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, the Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Dearest Mother, we ask your intercession to
help this couple.

I will pray for you, Sarah.
I almost got a divorce in our first
years of marriage but we stuck it out.
I understand and I will pray.

The two of you should enroll in one of the weekend encounters for fledgling catholic couples. My wife and I did this 5 years ago and I’m certain his entire view of things will change for the positve.

This is a catholic organization.

You can give this quote discreetly to your husband and pray for his current difficult journey.

“I do not believe as a child does; my Hosanna has been through the crucible of doubt.” (- Feodor Dostoyevsky)

Sarah,
I will pray for you and your husband. Do not give up hope. Is there any way that you could connect with an older couple for guidance or even just fellowship? Invite them over for coffee, or just have them drop in ‘unexpectedly.’ The example that they set cannot be underestimated.
God knows your heart, and the heart of your husband. He will provide for the two of you.
Blessings on your both.
Kathie

Praying for the both of you.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen

Lord comfort and strengthen Sarah and guide her as to the best ways to communicate with and help her husband to make choices according to Your holy will.

Our Father Who Art in Heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name
Thy Kingdom Come
Thy Will Be Done
On Earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
Amen
