Quiet down and pass the Ben Gay…
:ehh: What was that dearie? Ya got my bad ear! I can’t hear you. Old age, you know.:rotfl:

Ben-Gay works well, but everyone knows you’re wearing it! I prefer to smell like my Passion perfume, thank you very much. Thank God for good pain medication!

Hey - wait until you’re my age and have a 37 year old daughter…37 isn’t old, believe me. You will enjoy your 40s.
I can’t believe YOU have a 37 year old daughter. For some reason I thought you were younger than me?? (one year OLDER than Lillith… and yes… I’ve counted… I can relate! 🙂 ) Anyhow… you come across so youthful in your posts… so it just goes to show… your only as old as your fellow posters believe you to be!!! 🙂

Blessings & many more candles on our cakes,
CM

Maybe not. I hated the big four-oh and every year since. But as the big five-oh approaches, I am starting to think that my 40s weren’t so bad and I wish I could hang on to them…
Trust me, there is life after fifty, tho when my dd asked to bring the family stereo and a few LP’s to school for her history class, it was a bit distressing. . . (I did NOT drag out the 8-tracks!!!)

Was that ancient history?😃

We gotta keep a sense of humor about it, don’t we! When I was struggling with a medical crisis in my 30s, one doctor told me “It’s still better than the alternative.” (The alternative being “death”, rather than just struggling with a chronic illness!) At the time, I was neither amused nor comforted. Now, I see his point!

last year when I turned 45 I told my preschool class they couldn’t count high enough for how old I was. The other teacher led them in counting my age. I looked over and saw one child shaking out his hands from clapping so much…

People laugh when I tell them I am 45. Most people have me pegged for 36 or 37. But I sure do feel old when I am sitting on the floor with the preschoolers and my bones snap and crackle when I try to stand up, and I’m limping the first few steps.

I am soon to be 52 and no way would I want to be anything else. I can come and go as I please. When I come home from work I sit back, put my feet up and relax. I don’t have to ask anyones permission to go out. I can stay up late or sleep in. I have 3 small grandchildren and have them when I want but can give them back when I don’t. If I want to go someplace, the only person I have to worry about feeding or getting a nap is myself.

Aren’t grandchildren the greatest 👍 All the fun and very little work. And all those huggies and kisses:love: I have 2-- boy 5 and girl 2. Also another little boy coming in a week or so!!!

I am 31 and have six children with baby 7 on the way, My best friend pointed out yesterday that I have two grey hairs! I am actually excited to finally be growing up… I have been asked how I could posibly have so many kids and be so young. They were all born after we were married when I was 21, 7 children with one Daddy! What an accomplishment! Age has its benifits! Enjoy!

I had a hard time on my birthday this year. I don’t know if it is working full time, school of three little ones, and I only turned 25 this year.

Everybody at work wanted to kill me because they are all old enough to be my mother.

My mom’s says 40’s is the best part of your life.
I remember my 25th. I had a great day and thought it was wonderful…until I came home from work and my dh asked me “How does it feel to be a quarter of a century old?”

I was depressed for at least 2 seconds… :rotfl: The oldest grandchild is approaching the quarter century mark now. Can’t wait to spring that one on him. 😃
