Feeling sad for the world

I just read this, and suddenly I felt so sad about the state of the world:

Our Lady said at Fatima that, “The sin that leads most souls to hell are sins of the flesh.” This is why Our Lady asked the three children at Fatima to do penances which were very difficult for their age, in order to help save souls. And this after she showed them a vision of fiery Hell, with souls falling into it like snowflakes but burning as embers. It is most significant that Our Lady said this at a time when the revolution against sexual purity and morality was nothing like it is today. Think on that for a moment. Think very carefully what it portends for our present day world which Our Lady described as being “worse than at the time of Noah.”

imagine how many souls must be going to hell daily? I think we really need to pray… in every apparition, our Blessed Mother has told us to pray. To pray always. Especially to pray the Rosary, which is what she will use to reform the world (revelation to St Dominic)

I think it’s also important to offer reparation…to avoid sin…to seek humility, repentance, sincere love for God and neighbour… to not be like the world… to also pray the Divine Mercy chaplet, especially at the Hour of Mercy…

it just seems like the world is in such a bad state and I can’t imagine what it must be like for God as He looks at it. So much hatred, unbelief, distrust, so much disrespect for Our Lord and Our Lady and for the Church, for the Blessed Sacrament, the Sacrament of His love… add to that sins like abortion and mostly everyone using contraception and how the world has lost its sense of the sacred…the family breaking apart and introducing of gay marriage… just everything there is! It’s all so sad

we really need to pray…

just wanted to share this cause it’s been on my heart lately…

This weighs on my heart too, often. In the movie “Into Great Silence” - which has almost no dialog - one of the Carthusian (sp?) monks says, “The world has forgotten about God,” and it’s really true.

The same with me. I feel very very sad for the world
Sometimes, I can’t sleep because I am thinking about the world. It is just heartbreaking.
Humanity should listen more carefully.
In my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Monica

So true. The big problem today is we still have the same main trouble with chastity but abortion is the devils big triumph now. It’s sad that so many souls go to hell now because they presumed they would get mercy and were wrong. Presumption is a great victory for the enemy today. We still have to pray the holy rosary and offer sacrifices and do all our Blessed Mother asked at Fatima. Russia is not converted yet but I think it’s very close. The long period of peace promised is likely the new springtime PJP11 said was coming very soon, and this was why satan was working furiously at present. Pray for the conversion of Russia now. The long period of peace will follow. Things will improve out of sight then.

May the Sweet Lady of Fatima, pray for us and convert Russia very soon:thumbsup:
