Feeling very lost, need prayers

Hi, I’m feeling really lost if I should be Catholic or Orthodox. I just want to do God’s will. I feel that I’m hurting Him somehow, either by not becoming Orthodox or by doubting Catholicism… I really need Him to give me an answer on this. Please pray for me because I think this is important for my salvation. Please also pray that He would protect me from attacks and deceptions of the enemy. I’m no longer sure which side is God and which side is the devil, - and this is really painful and confusing. Thank you!!
 
I have been Catholic all my life and never doubted it because of my family.
After years of sin, I returned to the Church and started to study it and grew in my Faith.
Catholic Answers Live really helped confirm me in my Believes.

If one does not know what is better, one must reflect, consider and seek advice, because one must not act with an uncertain conscience. When uncertain, say to . yourself: “Whatever I do will be good. I have the intention of doing good.” The Lord God accepts what we consider good, and the Lord God also accepts and considers it as good. One should not worry if, after some time, one sees that these things are not good. God looks at the intention with which we begin, and will reward us accordingly. This is a principle which we ought to follow.

It is not a good thing to make decisions like this when one is disturbed in mind. Stay in the Church for now and tell God that you intend to do His will and you are staying in the Church because you are trying to do the right thing. If you are really supposed to be Orthodox, God will guide you there and you will have a peaceful conviction that it is His will. Until then, stay where you are and focus on being calm and peaceful and not letting yourself be disturbed by anything.

here’s an update… your prayers must have worked 🙂 I surrendered everything to God, and I feel so much peace now.😃 I also feel trust in Him again. I’ll keep on praying and will do the Rosary today for faith in what is true (God knows!). But I feel my faith in the Church is much stronger now, and that’s a good sign!! I feel like God also lead me to some letters from the 2nd Council of Nicaea that really support the Papacy.
