Hey Judy,

Never give up! We’re all praying for you.

Dear Jesus,
Send your smiling face to Judy. She needs your peace and comfort right now. We know that peace can only come from you. Pour out your graces on this lovely lady and her daughter. Heal her mind, body and spirit. Send her some extra angels to cheer her up and help her with the struggles she faces daily.

Amen

St Michael pray for us.
St Monica pray for us.
St Francis pray for us.

Hail Mary…

Hi Judi,

I am praying for you and your family. When I was at Church yesterday I found a novena prayer to Saint Anthony of Padua that I would like to share with you.

*O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and Charity for his creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought I implore you to obtain for me (request). The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even so, you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. Amen. *

I will be praying for you tonight.

Hugs,

Maria

*** Judi, you remain* in my prayers. :hug1: **
Your faith and courage are an inspiration!

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen

God bless you †

Dear Judi,

I will be praying for you tonight as I pray the rosary. I hope you feel some improvement soon and that you will feel Jesus`s love and comfort. He is right there with you.

Hugs and prayers,

Maria

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Prayers and Intercessions

Christ is filled with grace and the Holy Spirit. Let us proclaim his greatness and trustfully ask him:
  • Lord, give us your Spirit.
Make our day happy, without disturbance, without sin,
so that when we reach evening we can praise you joyfully with pure hearts.
May your radiance shine on us through the day:
guide the work of our hands.
Watch over us: let us do good in peace
and do what is right, with the strength you give us.
Look kindly on all who have asked for our prayers
and fill them with good things, both in body and in soul.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Lord, be with us in all we plan and help us in all we do,
so that our every action begins from you
and is completed through you.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.

Hi Judi,

For some reason I am awake in the middle of the night–so I prayed the rosary for you. I hope you experience some improvement soon. You will continue to be in my prayers.

Sincerely,

Maria1212

Thank you all for your continued prayers. My soul is a tortured one. I find no relief, no joy (well, with my kids), no release from physical pain. I ask and hear nothing. I knock, and no door is answered. I suppose I am where I am supposed to be. The good Lord knows what He’s doing, even I have NO IDEA what that is. I’ve been fervently praying the rosary. The kids and I are a mess. I try to keep smiling and be joyful around the kids. It’s not easy. But by the grace of God I do it for them. Please keep me in your prayers. My meeting with the GI surgeon is Oct. 30. I’m a bit afraid. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Judi

Still praying for you Judi. Hopefully the GI doctor will be able to give you some relief. Prayers for your children also.

Dear one,

I hope you never cease to post your prayer requests and never feel you ask too much - it is our priviledge to pray for you - I know that sounds a bit trite but I mean it sincerely.

(That said, I would rather you [and everyone else] didn’t have reason’s for posting - meaning I fervently am awaiting your healing - but until that happens - ask - always ask -)

When I started out on this board I prayed, maybe 15 - 20 minutes a day. Now, with all the people on this board as well as others I know, I pray at least an hour a day (usually more) and find myself just more prayerfull all day long. I am certain I don’t have to tell you that my closeness to the Lord has improved through the prayers.

I have no answers for why you are suffering so - I know many of the Saints did as well, although that is probably not much comfort!
I will continue to plead for your healing and the Lord’s grace and mercy on you and your family…

Still praying for you Judi. Hoping for good news as to your wellness.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Psalm 19 (20)
Prayer for victory

May the Lord hear your prayer in the day of tribulation, may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
May he send you help from his holy place; from Sion, may he extend his protection.

May he remember every one of your sacrifices and find merit in your burnt-offerings.
May he deal with you as your heart desires and bring all your plans to fulfilment.

We will rejoice in your saving help, we will raise our banners in the name of God; may the Lord grant all your prayers.

Now I know that the Lord keeps his anointed one safe: in his sanctuary in heaven he hears his prayer, and lends the support of his strong right hand.

Some put their faith in chariots and some in horses, but we invoked the name of the Lord our God.
They stumbled and fell, but we rose and we stand upright.

Lord, keep the king safe, and hear our prayer whenever we call upon you.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Hi Judi,

I wanted to let you know I stopped by Church today and prayed for you. I also wanted to let you know that it is thanks to your prayer requests that my devotion to the rosary has been renewed. Lately, I have really been struggling when comes to my prayer life. I found it much easier to pray with the goal of praying for your intentions. So thanks to your prayer request, for the first time in many months, I have been able to complete the rosary. So your prayer request resulted in a big spiritual gift from God to me. So thank you!

Hugs,

Maria

Oh Maria,

You are such a sweetheart. I haven’t done anything - believe me. I’m just this wretched little jerk that just keeps plugging away each day. I’m happy you could finish your rosary. I’ve gotten back to saying mine each day. I’ve even added the Divine Chaplet of Mercy. It seems all I can do is pray now. My body is literally giving out on me. Last night and this a.m. is horrible. My stomach is so huge it’s unbelievable. I thought my intestine was coming out from you know where. (Not a pretty visual). I’m scared. DH has been very “unsupportive” to say the least. It’s very sad. Very sad here for the kids, too. I love them so much. Please keep me in your prayers. You are always in mine and I think of you often!
Love
Judi

phoenix,

That Psalm you posted was just what I needed to read this morning (once again). You certainly have a gift for posting such “timely” messages. I do believe this is the work of the Holy Spirit in you. You are certainly an invaluable instrument of the Lord. You’re a dear friend. Myy prayers go out to you daily!

Love,
Judi

Hail Mary
full of grace
the Lord is with thee
blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus

Holy Mary
mother of God
pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death
Amen

May Saint John the evagelist, who so lovingly supported Mother Mary by the cross, support you today and everyday, as he did with her by the cross of Christ. Amen

Judi, still praying for you for relief and more support from your husband.
