I just wanted to share a moment i had today:

you know that moment when you realize God really is listening to your prayers and is working on you…:bigyikes::bowdown:

It is wonderful when my prayers are heard. It feels like I really do have someone looking out for me. It makes me feel filled with my love for God, almost to the point of tears.:blushing::crying:

To be truthful, most times I feel they haven’tbeen answered.😦 But I trust and know that there must be a reason. For example, I felt I needed to pray for someone I knew who was ill, and only a few days later I found out that she died. I doknow that some prayers are answered, but I trust He always knows what’s best. I have placed my life completely in His hands, and as Mother Angelica once said, “God doesalways answer our prayers. It’s just that sometimes the answer is no.”😉

I watch as blessings roll in every minute – starting with my ability to breather for one minute and anything in addition is abundance.

Then if there is anything I feel lacking I ask the Lord for guidance, and not a specific outcome. That both saves my ego from risk of being wrong or unable to pray, and opens my mind to guidance that may come from really anywhere. Not just Bible study but that’s a good place. Look for blessings and lessons everywhere.

And then see how the prayers and the blessings merge into a single stream. Pretty soon you won’t be able to pray enough in advance because you don’t even know how to sufficiently express thanks at the present blessings, and for the realization of pain and error in the past and how it has come to be a blessing and a contributor toward your current strength.

That is the mindset Jesus calls “the kingdom” IMO.

Certainly, we can not know, and probably some dominant factor. There is one thing we can be sure that God is always hear our prayers, even if he does not always respond to them immediately and do not always respond in the way we expect. Sometimes, he said, “is”, sometimes he says “no” and sometimes he said “wait”.
