Hi,could you please pray for my youngest son to keep going to mass?At 15 he starting to follow in his siblings footsteps and is regarding mass as an interference with his day  I need all the prayers I can get to help him reconnect with his faith and not feel the secular pull away.
Thank you and God bless

Parents Prayer for Children

O God the Father of mankind, who hast given
unto me these my children, and committed them
to my charge to bring them up for Thee, and
to prepare them for eternal life. Help me with
Thy heavenly grace, that I may be able to fulfill
this most sacred duty and stewardship.

Teach me what to give and what to withhold;
when to reprove and when to forbear; make
me gentle, yet firm; considerate and watchful;
and deliver me from the weakness of indulgence,
and the excess of severity; and grant that, both
by word and example, I may lead them in the ways
of wisdom and piety, so that at last I may, with them,
be admitted to the unspeakable joys of our true
home in heaven, in the company of the blessed
Angels and Saints.

O Heavenly Father, I commend my children
to Thy care. Be their God and Father; and
mercifully supply whatever is lacking in me
through frailty or negligence. Strengthen them
to overcome the corruptions of the world, whether
from within or without; and deliver them from
the secret snares of the enemy. Pour Thy grace
into their hearts, and strengthen and multiply
in them the gifts of thy Holy Spirit, that they may
daily grow in grace and in knowledge of our Lord
Jesus Christ; and so, faithfully serving Thee here,
may come to rejoice in Thy presence hereafter. Amen.

🙏

Dear Jesus,
Please help and guide this young man to see the benefits of continuing to practice his Faith, and please help his loving parent to find the best ways to handle this situation.
In Your name we humbly ask this. Amen.

Blessed Mother and St. Joseph, Please pray for this intention.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give your son guidance & direction to keep the faith.

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, Implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in Thy mercy hear and answer me, Amen

All that he needs is the vision of God’s uncondi-
tional, covenanting Love, he is like the obedient
son in the parable of the Prodigal Son, he doesn’t
see a REASON to be obedient to the Church,
Christ’s Beloved. He needs to realize the richness
of the Catholic Faith and the protection it’s walls
can give and so to enter the House of the Lord
with Praise. Is. 60:18

Hail holy Queen, mother of Mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope,
to You do we cry, poor banished children
of Eve, to You do we lift up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this Valley of
Tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate
Your eyes of mercy toward us and after
this our Exile, show to us the Blessed
fruit of Your womb, Jesus. O kind, O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us O Holy Mother of God, that
we may be MADE worthy of the promises
of God.
Amen.

Australia has some powerful missions and youth evangelization retreats. I think something like that could have changed my mehhhh outlook of being Catholic at that age. But not just any old experience / mission / retreat. Food for thought. It’s cool to see a teen get lit on fire.

May your children learn to model themselves on your faith, and not that of the secular world…
For your peace through Our Lord…

Our Father, Hail Mary’s, Glory Be, Fatima, AMEN!

I was so happy to find two of my older children still keep a scapular about them…my two who are most at risk
as they have anxiety/depression.
Thank you so much for prayers.God bless.

Dear Jesus, remembering that You died and rose once for all souls, with You, I pray concurrently for each person You place in my life, for each member of my family—earthly and spiritual—as if each were the only one. I commit them totally to You so that Your love becomes the source of all their thoughts and actions.

For all who cannot at this time in their lives pray or believe, I ask You to accept my prayers, my sacramental participation, and my acts of kindness to be theirs also. In Your infinite love, draw them speedily to Yourself in joy and peace!

Thank You merciful God who wish all souls to live in You. Thank You for the blessings You have given to our loved ones.

Our children and family love

Father, in Jesus’ name, please give us unconditional love for each other. Let us be sensitive to each other’s needs, and ready to make allowances for each other’s weakness or disposition. Help us to interact courteously and honestly, without fear of rejection. Let us encourage each other to develop our talents and potential. Help us lead each other to goodness and wholeness, through mutual encouragement and kindness.

Where it is beneficial, give us wisdom to correct each other lovingly and firmly, without harsh criticism that damages relationship and self-esteem. Give us wisdom not to be reactively unkind or restrictive, or opposed to change that may enrich anyone’s lives. Help us to forgive others when they hurt us, and to repent our own offence to anyone. Forgive our failures in prayer, penance and witness towards others, and supply what is lacking with fullness of life in You.

Father, though Your Holy Spirit, please form our children into true Christians. Inspire them to desire and love You and to consecrate themselves as delightful channels of Your goodness. Develop and enhance their gifts, so that each grows in wholeness and holiness. Preserve them from sin, but make them aware of Your great mercy.

If our children abandon Your Church, please restore them quickly to Sacrament and divine truth. Through Your Spirit, enlighten those who doubt You, ignore You or are lukewarm. If their absence is protracted, please nevertheless fulfil Your will in them.

Through their journeying, allow them to bring new gifts into our midst. Please always watch over them and their families in all their needs and endeavours. Thank You for Your love of them, which infinitely exceeds our own. Please always guide and protect them.

Jesus may we walk with You. Let Your promises be fulfilled in our lives for Your honour and for others’ blessing. Use us for Your purposes. Let Your Holy Spirit guide and empower us with gifts to serve You and people for You. God, let us love each other with Your love.

The Lord urges us to
“wipe away your tears. All that you have done for your children will not go unrewarded; they will return from the enemy’s land. There is hope for your future; your children will come back home. I, the Lord, have spoken.” [Jeremiah 31:16-17]

My Family
Loving God, I thank You for everyone in my family, for their goodness and abilities and for the difficulties that they have overcome. Thank You for our mutual love and forgiveness of flaws or failures.

Jesus taught that whatever our other achievements, it is upon our charity that You will judge us. (Matthew 25 verses 31-46)

Scripture tells us “charity covers a multitude of sins”. (thus said our first Pope, 1 Peter 4:8)
Let charity cover the sins of everyone in our families, whether they believe in You or not. Let it implore Your everlasting mercy and redemption for each of us.
Let each one remember Jesus’ account of the final judgement, and be encouraged to continue in loving and charitable works.

Lead each family member to heaven, welcoming the loving and kind intentions and acts of their lives as evidence of their worthiness to be counted with the “sheep” of “the Good Shepherd on the Day of Judgement”.
If any of them overlook relationship with You or doubt Your existence, let the love and life manifest in their lives prove their fidelity to Your Spirit. Let them experience and embrace Your merciful love as they enter eternal life.

Yet my greatest desire is that my children soon return to the Sacraments and kneel beside me at holy Mass, living Your truth and loving You as I do. Please grant this most urgent prayer of my heart for my children.

I offer my family to Your divine mercy, through the merits of Jesus, with the prayers of all saints and angels. Make us a delight to You in the way love characterises our lives.

Please know I continue praying for your family, including your youngest son.

“If you aspire to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for an ordeal. Be sincere of heart, be steadfast, and do not be alarmed when disaster comes. Cling to Him and do not leave him, so that you may be honoured at the end of your days.” “Whatever happens to you, accept it, and in the uncertainties of your humble state, be patient, since gold is tested in the fire, and chosen persons in the furnace of humiliation. Trust Him and He will uphold you, follow a straight path and hope in Him.

“You who fear the Lord wait for His mercy; do not turn aside in case you fall. You who fear the Lord trust Him, and you will not be baulked of your reward. You who fear the Lord hope for good things, for everlasting happiness and mercy…For the Lord is compassionate and merciful.” Those who fear the Lord do not distain His words, and those who love Him keep His ways. Those who fear the Lord keep their hearts prepared.” [Ecclesiasticus 21-9, 11, 15, 17-18]

“All the works of the Lord are good, and He will supply every want in due time. You must not say, ’This is worse than that’, for everything will prove its value in its time. So now, sing with all your heart and voice, and bless the name of the Lord!” [Ecclesiasticus 39:33-35]

For the Lord said: “My thoughts are not your thoughts, my ways are not your ways…Yes, and the heavens are as high above the earth as my ways are above your ways, my thoughts above your thoughts.” [Isaiah 55:8-9]

Isaiah says, “I was thinking: ‘I have toiled in vain, I have exhausted myself for nothing.’ And all the while my cause was with God, my reward with my God.” [Isaiah 49:3-4] For “the Lord is not being slow to carry out His promises…but He is being patient with you all, wanting nobody to be lost and everybody to be brought to change his ways.” [2Peter 3:9]

So we keep praying.
