She’s a dear, dear soul, full of compassion, altruism and good will, like many anorexics. She needs salvation, anorexic recovery and also has 2 cancer issues.

Please pray for her and for me…

Dear God. Please help Tim and his loved one get through this ordeal. He Cares a great deal about this person afflicted with anorexia and other illnesses. Please help them both get through this and I pray that they will both listen to Your Word carefully. Please help them, God.
 
My prayers are for you both. May God heal her of this sickness as well as Saint Peregrine, Patron Saint of Cancer Sufferers, hear our prayers and intercede for us so that she will be completely healed of the cancer as well.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

for perhaps she lacks it more than anything else.

She needs courage to hold strong against
the battle of anorexia.

She needs courage to bear unkindness,
mockery, contradiction.

She needs courage to fight against the devil,
against terrors and troubles, temptations,
attractions, darkness and false lights,
against tears, depression, and above all fear.

She needs Your help, dear God.

Strengthen her with Your love and Your grace.

Console her with Your blessed Presence
and grant her the courage to persevere
until she is with You forever in heaven.

Grant strength and understand to Tim during
this process.

Dear Lord, I Iift this situation and these beloved souls up to you for your healing: spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally to your own perfect ends. We here on this earth are so broken and bereft… we try to hang onto your message of hope, but it is so hard and beyond our imagining when things become painful and difficult… you know this or would not have sent your son into our midst to experience it all in the human realm. Please grant some peace to this family. Amen.
 
Lord Jesus, please bless this woman with the knowledge that she is a beloved child of God and help her to treat herself as such. Please bless Tim with the strength to help her as she needs it and to be patient and take care of himself too. Thank you Lord, Amen.

PS I started praying many Hail Marys since I met her and the other night prayed a Rosary. I’ve been a bit inactive in my prayer life for a while.

What does it mean to say a novena for her? Do i have to go to Mass daily if I did a 9 day one?
 
Okay, I did some research and am gonna pray a novena for her starting tonight. It will be directed towards Saints Dympna (mental illness and neurological disorders) and Peregrine (cancer sufferers).

Oh,btw, she goes in for a colcoscopy for possible cervical cancer Friday, April 4th.
