Please don’t throw stones on me 😦 but I don’t fully understand the Church’s stance regarding Female Ordination.

As far as I know, the refusal to ordain women is on the ground that 12 apostles were all men. Jesus was also men.
Ordinatio Sacerdotalis, 4: “I declare that the Church has no authority whatsoever to confer priestly ordination on women and that this judgment is to be definitively held by all the Church’s faithful.”

The Church cannot ordain women priests, she does not have the authority, therefore it is impossible.
God has no gender.
God’s gender is masculine according to Catholic teaching. I think you are confusing gender with sex.

And the pope in the 16th century had very real political problems of the day - Spain for instance. There were perceived spiritual arguments for Henry’s divorce…it wasn’t that clear cut.
You sound like you have a hotline directly to God…you certainly think you know his ‘mind’ - God’s will IS…! That ‘s a bit dangerous…the world can surely do without fundamentalists. It’s not a ’ black and white’ place, you have to co-exist with other views - some who are as ‘sure’ of their DIFFERENT ‘facts’ about God as you are…
The authority of the Pope is a black and white issue. And thanks be to God, we don’t have to have a “hotline directly to God” to know His will; he has revealed it in the person of Jesus Christ, Who explicitly stated that it is His will that there is one Church under one shepherd.

Maybe one church, rather than one Church…(I don’t believe Jesus was planning a church like the one that finally evolved…that took years after his death and all sorts of personalities came into play in it’s evolution. But that is not Catholic belief so I won’t go there.) Anyway, I’m wasting my time…I’d love to hear you in a debate with a Wahhabi Muslim!
