After attending Masses at several different parishes and reading these forums, I am beginning to think the single most corrosive underlying element plaguing the Mass today is the virulent strain of radical sexism that many refer to as “feminism.”

Feminism buffered by the PC laws of today seem to be the sources that turn the Mass into a place of protest for a great many misandrists and their ever supportive sisters and brother.

I think their influence is waning right now, and I think we are seeing a last ditch effort. A mean and nasty effort fueled by hatred.

I think this thread might be a bit too edgy even for this forum…

I Don’t!! 👍

I actually think the most dangerous influence of feminism is much more subtle then the easy-to-identify radical nuts.
Feminism has devalued Woman’s most sacred role - motherhood… and it crept into our Church.
I think we need to continue to revive and elavate Motherhood within the church and show our faithful and the world the true value of women.

Amen.

I cannot help but think. If Jesus Christ would have wanted females to become priests, His Blessed Mother would have been first in line…

Well said 😃

In all honesty, I believe that feminists may have had a good intention from the very start (way back when that woman wanted the right for us to vote, please forigve me, I cannot recall her name my memory is poor.) but it really degraded into a “we hate men” group. Where once woman may have been given respect (such as holding a door open) now wmen fear doing such a kind act for fear of being sued. It doesn’t feel special to be a woman anymore, you just feel like you are a second class male.
