And really, the source is not exactly credible. A former agent of Hoover’s FBI … who would ever think that such a person would be a rabid anti-communist?

The list includes all kinds of stuff which was already mainstream trends in the US. It was a common practice back in the fifties and early sixties to label anything you didn’t like as communist. Martin Luther King had to fight that label (and Hoover’s FBI) during his entire civil rights career.

Or it could be that radical chic exists and campaign season, which attract youthful idealists, bring it out every time. It may not have gotten much coverage because it’s a dog-bites-man story.

If you’d actually studied Communism in the US, you would know that there was and still is, a real problem.

Godless Communism is alive in the US but it now goes under the name Godless Americanism. During his trip to the US, Pope Benedict stated that America should return to its Christian roots. I agree.

Finally, men are not women and women are not men. Mutual respect is the answer, not two warring camps.

Christ paid for original sins and all of our sins MALE and FEMALE. Women are not to be treated unequally b/c of that. Men are just as accountable as women are. If Adam was so great he would have looked at Eve and said “what have you done you crazy woman! I’m going to follow God and not you! I will not have any fruit” but nooooooo he did not

Men and Women are EQUAL and COMPLEMENTARY. WE each have unique qualities but these qualities do not make one inferior to the other. We are not equal and the SAME but equal we are! There is a difference! Christ loves all of his children. Women are not second class citizens just b/c of Eve’s foolishness.

And no one is suggesting that women ARE second class citizens…however, those who continue to fight for feminism…try to make it as if THEY ARE and have been…its how they “justify” the ridiculous cries of “discrimination”…and HEAVEN forbid you actually be a female and NOT buy into the feminist movement…like myself you are labeled all sorts of things…I have even been told that I “must be a dude” because I don’t agree with their CR**!

Men don’t give birth to babies…do they? But women can’t get pregnant without men…can they? Fact of the matter is that men and women need each other…but according the feminist movement that’s simply not true…women believe they no longer “need” men…they go to sperm banks to be inseminated…they choose to adopt as single women…they take up with other females, etc. Many choose to have many sexual partners, foregoing marriage, family, etc…for the sake of their careers.

Yet…when women decide they think they might want to marry…they are dumbfounded that they can’t find a man to treat them with chivalry and respect, after they have sent so many mixed messages that they are to be treated as “equals”…when they say…“I can pay my own way”…when they say “I don’t really need a man”…when they say…“I can open my own door”…when they say…“I am highly educated and I can think for myself”…etc., etc., etc.

And we wonder why men are

If I were a man…I wouldn’t want to date most females today either…heck…I don’t even want to work with them…let alone marry 'em!

Besides…the Blessed Mother was the most perfect woman to live…and I just don’t remember reading in the Bible where she demanded that St. Joseph stay home with Jesus, while she went out to work cause it was “unfair” that she was treated so “unequally” in the world!

I look at what was PREDICTED. I compare it to today.

Well King did associate with them, no? Stanley Levison (Communist Party USA), Jack O’Dell? Even hired them. And I think that many times they were correct in the 50-60’s about Communists.

I misread something earlier I think. But there ARE people out there that use the whole EVE thing to say women are immoral and sinful by nature and should not be allowed to speak in the church, etc. That we are demonish seductresses and therefore not equal to men. That’s what frustrates me. That’s kind of the church I came from…and when I go to school, preachers yell that at me. I thought feminism in part helps to dispel that BS but the radicals don’t help at all, they make it worse, by promoting whoring around. I guess that’s why I’m a little sensitive about this whole Male/Female thing b/c I am exposed to that BS all the time (the preacher BS).

Men and Women were given different talents…One of the reasons why Men can be priests and Women can be mothers. We are equal in Christ’s eyes and special in our own ways. Men cannot be mothers but that does not make them inferior and women can not be priests but again they are not inferior for that.

Respect IS the answer, but it is not that simple. Person to person is where the respect should matter, not on the fundamentals of a society. I think.

Because…a lot of guys I knew, especially in college, if you didn’t give them what they wanted (sex), they could always get it from some whorish girl, and therefore, they didn’t have to treat you with respect if they didn’t want to. I met so many jerks in my time…and it’s all b/c they don’t have to treat a lady with respect anymore b/c girls don’t call for it. I knew so many girls that would get wasted and just sleep with the first guy they fell over, and usually didn’t remember much about it.

I can see the connection with extreme feminism in this.

Wasn’t until I got to Grad school that I met a guy (my fiance) that wasn’t ruined by all of it. Treats me with dignity, respect, and love, and I treat him with the same.

Well, the bible does show the conversation between Eve and the serpant. I do not think there was mention of a conversation between Adam, and the serpent.
