😦 I don’t know if we have the worst luck in the world, but it seems like my fiance can’t hold down a job. In the past 5yrs that I have been working at the hospital he has had more than 6 jobs. This year alone lost 2 jobs. I have been struggling money. The house bills are so high that the electric company is going to cut off my service, luckly I have made payment arrangements, but this month I wasn’t able to do so. The house phone was already cut off last month. I don’t know what to do any more. My fiance says that he is out there looking for work with his friend, but I feel that he is not trying his best. It has been a month 1/2 now that he is out of work, and the holidays are also upon us. I am tired of the situation that I am in, I work 40+hrs and go to school part time. I am exhausted being the provider. I don’t remember that last time we went to have a nice dinner out, or go dancing, shopping. I am not a material person, but it is nice to be able to go a spend some money on yourself, when you are making the $. I feel like a slave… I work and work and I don’t see nothing of my money because I have to pay rent, bills, groceries, gas, laundry etc.
My fiance is a good person and I love him dearly, he is my best friend. But I don’t know what is he doing wrong when he is working?
Please my friends in the forum please pray for me and my fiance to get out of this mess that we are in now. :o

God Bless,
Gladys

Praying for you. You might want to consider making him an ex-fiancee.

I will pray for you, but you might consider the thought that your best friend could become your worst nightmare when he is not contributing. You did not mention why he keeps getting fired, but I think you should give it some thought. This may sound harsh, and I am sorry. But sometimes we have to step back and take a realistic look at our situation. You are not required to support him. You are not married, and if you are living with him, you are borrowing trouble. Please think about doing the right thing and clean up the situation.

It is always hard when one person in a partnership is having to be the strongest one, but remember god only gives us what we can handle, stay strong things will work out.:hug1:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

Dear Gladys - Will be keeping in daily prayer that you fiance will indeed find work and that all the financial stress will be relieved and that you will indeed have extra money to relax and enjoy as well as work hard…this is a really stressful time for you…

I am sorry for what you are going through. Please know that I will pray for you.
