I’m really struggling with just daily life tasks. I can’t work or even do much around the house. I got thrown into surgical menopause following my hysterectomy 2 months ago and its thrown my Fibromyalgia severe pain and chronic fatigue into overdrive. Medicines help very little. Please pray for me during this difficult time. Pray that I can have strength to take care of as much as I can around the house to lighten my husbands load a bit. Pray that I can get healthy enough one day to be able to work part time again even (God willing!) This is also taking a huge toll on my already fragile mental health. Please pray! Thanks so much. God bless you!

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Convert in 99). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Convert in 99’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular Convert in 99, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Pain should never be taken lightly as it is suffering, plain and simple and unrelenting pain can be a nightmare. I felt like I needed to reply to your request so when I went to look for a prayer for “someone in constant pain,” I came across a blog by the name of “The Mama Spoon.” The lady that has the website has walked a path similiar to your own. I think this might be a very encouraging blog for you to read and know that you are really understood by another person in similiar painful circumstances! Anyway , it’s worth a look!

Also, one more thing. I happened upon a little book, " Prayer Without Ceasing … Breath Prayers" Jan 1, 1998 by Kathleen S. Lewis. (at amazon.com) It’s just a small paperback book but well worth the investment!

If you would like to know more about it before getting it, just PM me here on CAF and I would be happy to help. The Author Kathleen S. Lewis has so many terminal conditions that cause her terrible ongoing pain and she continues to amaze her doctors and has found a way to live with pain that would be something we could all benefit from! And she also continues to live a purposeful and very meaningful life! It is a small paperback that is worth its weight in gold!

I referred someone else to the same book and her daughter wrote me back and told me how very much the book had benefited her mother, so I know it works! 🎉

In the meantime, I will add you to my rosary intentions!

I am truly sorry for everything you’re going through. I sincerely hope and pray that all your pains, ills and difficulties - mental, spiritual and physical - will be alleviated and that you may be able to live your life to the fullest. I also pray that in your suffering you may see it as a bond with Our Lord Crucified and offer up your suffering for the forgiveness of all the world and yourself. I pray for your husband as well, that his “load” may be lessened and that you may find strength and comfort in one another during this time and always. I ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, your and your husband’s guardian angels, and Saints Louis and Zelie Martin. God bless. 🙂

Please don’t ever think that I am making light of your situation or others suffering like you, because I am not!
Suffering is never fun and it is especially bad when no one believes the intensity of what you are feeling!
That said, My hat is off to the woman who wrote this and I want only to support those in similiar circumstances! ***

But my last line of defense is to kneel and pray, so if that is okay with you, I will begin my rosary now and put you in my intentions again!
