I looking for some pointers. There is something called “we should not fight one sin with another”

What does moral theology say about it ? What is the concept called?
Can any one help?

The ends don’t justify the means is what is typically said. What I gave was a Catechism quote. Deontology typically holds to this. Deontology is like a school of moral thought.

This would be the fonts of morality. You can find this in the Catechism: Part 3, Section 1, Chapter 1, Article 4-- The Morality Of Human Acts.

One may never do evil, even in the pursuit of good.
