The purpose of my life is to use my writing gifts to serve God and others.

How does He wants me to do that? I’m still trying to figure that out. Even though I’m not sure, I trust that Jesus will guide me in the right place.

The purpose of my life is shrouded in mystery, but like Nancy says, love is the answer.
 
My life is multipurposed.
The purpose of my life is __________.
___ to love and cherish God through Jesus Christ His Son, my Savior and King.
___ that as I draw closer to Him, and see Him as He truly is, that He would anoint me to reflect the light of His grace; in whatever He has aportioned to me. If that is only to wash the floors of restrooms - let it be to His glory.

__That I would be drawn to my Father by the sacred heart of Jesus just like a little child is drawn to the warmth of his parent’s love.
__ that I would remain forever awestruck and starry eyed with the wonder of Him, even as young Mary chose to feast on Jesus’ Words rather than to work with Martha who busied herself creating her own feast thereby missing drinking in those wellsprings of deep & living waters as her little sister did.
__ to remember this. Can anyone really take away anything from me if I belong to my Savior? Whatever in this world is more precious than Jesus? Are family, friends, wealth, health, or wealth, altogther more precious than He? There is no one and nothing that can ever take His place. He is my all in all.

Although its something I learned by rote as a child, the beauty and truth contained in that catechism answer will never cease to fuel my meditations.

I asked the following question somewhere else but it seems to fit in here, too:

Many answers here are “my goal is to get to heaven.”

Why do you think God didn’t just create us to dwell with Him in heaven immediately instead of living on earth first?
 
The purpose of my life is to get to heaven and drag as many people as possible with me.

He didn’t just put us in heaven immediately because He wanted us to choose to love Him. Robot love is worthless.

The purpose of my life is to help others achieve there own purposes.
 
My purpose in life is to help those whom can’t help them selfs, to feed the poor, to clothed the naked, to visit the sick, to lend a ear to the lonely, then I will know I am doing what god has asked me to do.

My purpose in life is to get closer to Christ because without him I am nothing! Then one day to bring myself closer to heaven.

My purpose in life is to look inside and see the sinner I am and try to rid of it and change for a better person in Christ.

Reason not in heaven now? Because God has a plan for me and wants me to continue to grow in him , with love and peace for true salvation , by means of trails and tribulations without it I wouldn’t know how to have Ruthless Trust in him.
