My son would love one for his Easter basket and I am looking for one appropriate for this age.

Any thoughts?

St Francis de Sales? St Francis of Assisi? St Francis Xavier?

I bought the movie “Clare and Francis” and was stunned that my then-seven-year-old son sat and watched the entire movie with me. It’s over two hours long! But he seemed to find the movie powerfully interesting, even the parts about St. Clare.

No movie depiction of a Saint’s life that I’ve ever seen is perfect, but this movie is wonderful, and opened up a lot of conversation for the two of us 👍

As an aside, the film was made in Italian (by the same studio that made the films about St. Rita, St. John Bosco, and many others) but you can watch it dubbed in English. I was astonished at the quality of the dubbing! I watched some of it in Italian and didn’t like the voices and audio quality as well. That was a first for me – preferring the dubbing to the original.

Just my two cents…
