Punish somebody for sin committed but to undergo the punishment send him to the arch enemy’s jurisdiction. How this can be reconciled ? I mean our final judgement and punishment in hell.
Not for argument’s sake but for real clarification.

The idea that hell is actually Satan’s jurisdiction is, to my knowledge, more pop theology than orthodoxy. Satan himself is going to be punished in hell.

When Satan is the most despicable, terrifying, unpleasant creature in the universe to be around, how is there a contradiction in sending the damned to be in eternal company with him?

Please explain where, exactly, you see the contradiction. God doesn’t do Satan any favors by sending souls to Hell. All the creatures there, including the angels, are compelled to suffer extreme torment for all eternity.

It’s like this – God says I love you. You say I hate you in return. God is like the Sun – able to burn, able to warm, able to scald, everywhere. When one is in love with God, God’s love in return feels like warmth. When one is being purged of sin, that warm feels a little scalding but ultimately one knows that they are being prepped for that warmth. When one hates God, that warmth feels like burning, that warmth is rejected. That is hell.

It’s “reconciled” because that’s what those in the Hell of eternal condemnation wanted.

God gave them a lifetime of appeals, but this is what they insisted upon.

God bless.

You are right about the fallen angels suffering in hell, (Im not sure where people got the idea satan/ demons rule or govern hell in anyway.)

However, when more and more people are sent to hell, that makes satan happy, after all his goal is to draw as many people away from God as possible, if more people end up in hell than go to heaven, well, imo, satan prevails, in the sense that a majority of Gods creations willingly chose satan over God.

Hi, Joseie!

…here we are again… you continue to bring up issues that are basically challenging God’s Authority, Love, and Mercy.

…while you may fully be an innocent seeker… it seems, at least to me, that you are way slanted in being evil, spitting in God’s Face, and taunting Him with something to the effect: ‘ha, ha, there’s nothing you can do because you’re suppose to Love me no matter what and you cannot take Salvation back because it is a free Gift of unconditional love… ha, ha, ha HAAAAAA!’

…there was once a world where there were no cell phones and no one texted anyone; people got together or spoke over the telephone which was fixed to a landline and a home/office bound fixture…

…then tech brought in the texting (ridiculous as it is we’re connecting through some of that tech right now)… people joined the portrayed revolution and they’ve become so enamored with it that they began to shell out hundreds of dollars to posses the latest techs and the right to text, twit…

…so people have been texting and twitting themselves into walls, other people, vehicles, off the road and, in at least one case in China, into a death hole…

While the various entities that have sold the texting/twitting experience as the must have/do thing so that they can reap the profits of people’s search for acceptance and inclusion, how can they be held responsible for the irresponsible use of their tech and their instruments of chaos, destruction and death?

You want man to have the liberties that he chooses (unrighteousness, rebellion, death, and destruction) and you want Yahweh God to cover the tab!

…so just go to your neighborhood bank, walk right into the vault, fill several sacks with hundred dollar bills, and as you exit the bank, just remind them of the FDIC–you should have no problems living large on your gains since the government will pick up the tab!

Hi, Mike!

…does God send people into chemical highs that causes destruction and death in their lives?

…man willingly dances with death… at it happens often enough, he loses!

Yes, thats what I was saying…a majority of people willingly choose to follow the enemy and disregard God, and/or Gods laws and teachings…in that sense, imo, satan has prevailed.

You mean hell ,the most hated place,is operated and maintained by God ? Other two possibilities are that it is a’ self service’ or it is under the control of Satan, the most hated thing.Out of these three ,is it not the last which is more appropriate ?
About the contention that satan himself is going to be punished in hell…any direct or indirect supporting material ?

You can’t see any contradiction in sending the person you punished to your arch enemy to undergo the punishment?

Hi, Mike!

I understand your position… I was attempting to convey that: a) God does not send anyone to hell, and b) man choses himself above God even and in spite of knowing that he is placing his world (family, friends, financial and emotional security…) and his own life in peril.

There are people who align themselves with Satan against God. If they go to hell they aren’t going to their archenemy but to their ally against God. God doesn’t send people to hell who don’t want to be there.

You seem to be under the mistaken impression that Satan rules hell or that he administers the torments of hell.

Satan will not be ruling in hell. He will be punished and suffering along with the souls and angels who willingly turned against God. Satan will not be punishing them. He will be in the same boat with them.

Hi, Joseie!

…you are operating under the folklore/fallacy that hell is composed of a kingdom where Satan rules and controls/commands–much of this is owed to sci-fi and hollowood’s interpretations…

Here’s what Scriptures have Revealed about hell:
33 ‘Serpents, brood of vipers, how can you escape being condemned to hell?
(St. Matthew 23:33)

41 Next he will say to those on his left hand, “Go away from me, with your curse upon you, to the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. (St. Matthew 25:41)

47b …it is better for you to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell 48 where their worm does not die nor their fire go out. (St. Mark 9:47b-48)

27 but he will reply, “I do not know where you come from. Away from me, all you wicked men !” 28 ‘Then there will be weeping and grinding of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves turned outside. (St. Luke 13:27-28)

14 Death and Hades were emptied of the dead that were in them; and every one was judged according to the way in which he had lived. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the burning lake. This burning lake is the second death; (Apocalypse [Revelation] 20:14)
The Scriptures above tell us that:
  • Hell is a punishment (condemnation)–not an alternative kingdom
  • The unrighteous will partake of the punishment and place created for satan/the devil and his minions (angels and those who followed in his path–rejection and disobedience of Yahweh God’s Authority)
  • The punishment is eternal as the worms of those in hell will not die
  • Sorrow will be in convulsions as those in hell will find themselves outside of God’s Kingdom
  • Death and Hades will empty into the lake of fire–Satan along with all his followers (angels and men) will be cast into the lake of fire at Judgment Day
Sadly, hollowood has perpetuated the “better to reign in hell” than serve in Heaven fallacy… no one reigns in hell!

…of and the Greek Hades/Haides thing… where there’s a ruler of the dead–not so; everyone is condemned equally.

Hi, Joseie!

…both are suffering the same punishment; to think that Satan has the upper hand is missing the whole condemnation/damnation thing: all who deliberately reject God’s Authority, by default, are choosing to exist in an opposite realm: hell.

So, if Satan is not in charge of hell, who else is? Or if no body is in charge,is it a self sustaining, free for all, place?Who will take care to ensure that the fire, worms etc. are healthy and ok.to inflict the punishment? Or is it that the nature of the punishment in hell as made known to us is only symbolic… ?

Hi, Joseie!

…do you Believe that Yahweh God is Omnipotent and Omniscient?

…have you noticed how every eco system is complete–which includes those agents that purify/remove contaminants from them?

…have you ever gone through a property/place where man has abandon it and have you witnessed how nature has taken it back?

God Created the Universe–it was completed from the Word of Creation… even when parts of it Unfold through time and exposure…

Hell was created to contain Spiritual Beings that rejected God’s Authority… hell was created in its entirety, even when only Lucifer and his minions failed… even when the full use of hell would not come about till thousands of years into its creation.

It is man’s imagination that has blurred Creation and Understanding… it is man’s imagination that appropriates Scriptures in order to create science fiction… yet, as with the countless “vampire” and “zombies” renderings, each generation spins the rules as it sees fit.

Hell is not a vacationing place where people visit/make it their home and servants/maintenance people are required; hell is the abode of the exiled!

Why does there have to be someone in charge? Hell is everything God is not, so there is no order in hell. Hell is the state of deprivation of God. No one is in charge, ruling hell. The spirits and souls there are just there, suffering.

I wonder how many people knowingly and willingly reject God? For instance, I’ll take an example of a person whom I bet most people think would be damned to hell.

Kid grows up in horrible family and has a horrible example set in front of him. Never been taught faith, doesn’t know God. Ends up in a gang, because this is all he sees. Eventually gets caught up and kills someone. Gets sent to solitary confinement, where he eventually is sorry for his actions, but very quickly loses his mind because of how inhumane and sick solitary is. Maybe even ends up hanging himself to escape, or maybe is lucky to put back into the normal prison population or executed.

This person has suffered his entire life. No way to know their real intentions, but it would be hard for me to think that this person ever really totally rejected God.

I know all examples don’t follow this course, but I think many do…
