Final presentation for Sign Language class

[invisiblewitnes]

Hi everyone,
I am taking an American Sign Language course. The final presentation is a week from tomorrow, Thursday. I will be signing a song for my presentation. The particular song is Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”. Please pray that I am able to successfully learn all the signs and practice signing the first 90 or so seconds of the song. I am a little nervous, but as long as I put in the practice, and figure out what signs I need to learn, I will be fine. Thank you for all prayers for this and other intentions.

God bless you all. Amen.

Praying for your intentions.

Hi invisiblewitnes,

I think it is great that you have learned sign language. That is a skill that you will be able to use throughout your life.

Prayers said for you.

Good luck on your final–I am sure that you will do well!

God bless you!

I wanted to learn sign language. Once, I went out, got a book on it, but I didn’t take a class, so I didn’t learn it.

Later, I saw a class in Mexico, but due to my arthritis, I don’t think it’d work. I admire people greatly who learn other languages be it Spanish, French, Russia or sign or braille. It is beautiful, something special and wonderful.

In the spirit of this sign thread…:tsktsk::aok::yyeess::coolinoff::thankyou:

Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

[Catie59]

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled
to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought
thy intercession, was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins, my Mother;
to thee do I come, before thee do I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.

O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise
not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear
and answer me.
Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

A Prayer of St. Augustine

O, God,
Grant us in all our duties your help;
in all our perplexities, your guidance;
in all our dangers, your protection;
and in all our sorrows, your peace.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord,
our body, and our blood,
our life and our nourishment.
Amen.
