Final weeks of pregnancy and labor

I would like to request some prayers. I am now 34 weeks pregnant, so I have about a month and a half to go (give or take). My official due date is June 8th. I have already had dreams about having baby here and bringing him home…my husband and I are very excited.

I have a suspicion that my baby “flipped” last week, and is now in a breech position (head up). This is really not ideal and often leads to a C-section. I am feeling anxious because I would really rather avoid a C-section unless absolutely necessary. I know baby can still change positions between now and then, but I can’t shake this feeling. This is our first child, so we are already nervous!

Please pray that these final weeks go smoothly and that my husband and I will have the birth according to God’s plan!

I do so appreciate the prayers. My suspicions were confirmed yesterday, and baby is breech. We are going to try to turn him next week while I other things at home.

While I know that C-sections are sometimes necessary for the safety of both baby and mother, I feel totally inadequate and helpless about this situation. There’s still time for baby to turn…please continue praying. Thank you!
