PLEASE DON’T STOP!!! I BEG YOU!
As the mama of 5 boys I assure you, he NEEDS a brother with all those sisters. My parents had 5 girls and 2 boys. The boys were 12 yrs apart in age, but they were so close. They bonded over dealing with us girls. And besides, God never told us to stop multiplying once we had one of each gender.
If I stopped after my girl came, I would only have half the kids I do. My youngest would be 11, I wouldn’t drive my big van, my food bill would be much lower, my house would be less cluttered…and my heart would feel like someone (or lots of people!) was missing. Congratulations!!! Your little guy will be so spoiled with all the little mommies at your house to help out. And I think a spoiled baby is a good thing. God bless your family. I am so happy for you!
PS–my oldest sister introduced me as her youngest sister, and my 2 month old as “the LAST grandchild for our family,” to her friends last week. And yes, she emphasized LAST. I can hardly wait to introduce our next “last” baby (God willing) in another year or two. She’s been emphasizing the word LAST harder and harder since 2001 when #4, our first girl, came. 2 boys and 2 girls later you would think she would have given up…
